10 Chapter 10 "I am doomed "

"You should breathe or you'll get me imprisoned " she exhaled big time "Si..r ..S ....ir!" she suddenly started to stammer "Yes! Mrs..careless " he said seriously, she gulped, she knew that she was done for , he will just fire her right after slappong her back, she held her cheek "I am your boss or woma.. what again?" she froze right at the spot, Did you really have to bring that up? she thought, she lowered her head down and closed her eyes tightly feeling embarrassed, he walked towards her and she kept stepping back out of fear until she hit a wall , she gasped for air the room was too hot for her to handle , he leaned his head closer to hers "Welcome to JJB Tessa!" he said with a smirk making her even more frightened, she got out of his hold and ran out faster, she pulled her bag from the desk and ran away from the washroom, standing by the mirror "Why am I do unlucky " a single tear fell to palm "I have to quit when I haven't even started to work " she sobbed "Why did it have to be that jerk? just why ?", after a couple of minutes she came out of the toilet with her sullen eyes , she turned to look at the desk for the last time before she climbed an elevator to go.back home , her conscious was telling her he would just fire her there was no need for her to go back to him and get humiliated even more.....♡

Jordan sat on his majestic chair "Did I scare her that much?" he regretted his stupid actions once in a lifetime, he knew she voluntarily resign after knowing bad memories they had everytime they met....

Tessa walked by the city and ran into an ice cream shop, when suddenly a memory flashed in her head

"Mommy! Mommy! I want vanilla ice cream!" she was pulling her mother's dress "Okay ! okay! Tess behave okay, vanilla ice cream for cutie pie sir"? her mother gave money to the man , Tessa smiled as she was eating her ice cream "Thank you mommy " ....

She found herself walking to the ice cream shop "One vanilla ice cream please!" she payed and sat on a bench that few metres from the shop and started to eat it, tears kept rolling down as she keep eating eat "I miss you mother " , she arrived at home earlier than her fellow members, she threw herself on the bed, her mind was so tired from all the thinking and slept unknowingly that early in the afternoon.

Srah came back home with Milly and together they were surprised to see her at home when she should be at work by now , they didn't wake her up and just waited for her to wake up on her own and tell them what happened....♡

Jordan waited for her to come back with a frown as time kept passing and she was nowhere to be seen , Pharell noticed the worries that was written all over his face "What is it sir?" Jordan stayed quiet for a while and then sighed "I messed up!" Phare couldn't understand what he was saying "Huh!" he dismissed him because if he keep staying there he would just annoy home even more.

Tessa woke up after couple of hours, she climbed downstairs yawning, Milly and Sarah were at the living room watching some TV show "Hello you two" she said with her sullen face they waved at her , "girlfriend, I've cooked some noodles you can eat if you feel hungry " she nodded heading to the kitchen "How about you two?" Milly shouted "We've already eaten" , she took a bowl and served herself, she head back to the leaving room to sit along with them "Aaam.. Tessa, how was it at work ? you came earlier than we thought" Sarah uttered not facing her , she knew there was a problem behind that sad face , she stuffed her mouth with the noodles "It went well, I passed the interview remember...." Sarah nodded "Yeah , and you got employed " she sighed "The problem started once I saw who my boss was " Sarah and Milly stopped watching TV facing her, their eyes demanded for her to tell everything that happened " So my boss is..... he is a womanizer and I've already had a fight with him once" they were said in unison "So!" she took a sip of water "So I decided to quit on my own and save my pride, I even insulted and slapped him before" they were surprised by her tale , just why does she have to always be so unlucky they both sighed at same time "So did he tell you to quit or anything about the accidents with him?" Milly uttered, Tessa shook her head "Milly no, I said i quitted on my own" she held her forehead, she was so tired of her sister's nonsense "Why'd you quit!" she yelled seriously "I mean if he didn't say to quit ...Why'd you quit? they were both surprised by her reaction, she sighed facing the ceiling "Oh dear God help me put some senses into our dumb Tessa " Tessa frowned at her sister's insults and threw a pillow at her head, Sarah who was quiet all this time finally stood up "You know Milly is right Tessa, you shouldn't have quit so early, when he didn't mention about it, maybe he decided to let it go , you never know" she placed down the bowl and burped "Really! but he gave me a smirk though, as if he was marking his territories, I got scared can you blame me for that?" she pouted her lips, Milly picked up the bowl and the glass walking to keep them at the kitchen "Tess! sometimes you have to act dumb to get what you want " a sound of raucous call of a crow flashed to their heads "Caw caw!!"(it's a sound I'll use for creating awareness or when something dumb happened ) they were speechless by their princesses adult mouth, she was only 9yrs but has an older woman's soul within her,her IQ was something else, Sarah supported Milly's words, it clearly had some sense to her too "You know she is right.... act like you don't remember anything Tessa and see how he will react" Tessa covered her face with a pillow, she couldn't believe that her own family is sending her to her doom "You are not helping you two"...♡

Milly got up and went to sit beside her "Trust me Tessa, that's what I do at school , I don't really care to act dumb as long as I get what i want, go back at work tomorrow and make an excuse, or just tell him something came up that's why you left in a hurry" Tessa rested her head back on a couch processing her little sister's words , Sarah snapped a finger at her face "Oh hello! what is there to think about? her highness the genius already gave you an epic idea which you would never think about" Tessa pulled Milly to her arms and a big sigh escaped her mouth "Okay okay ! I'll go" Milly and Sarah toasted high five "Yes!" they said in unison , Tessa couldn't really think of any other way out but to just follow Milly's idea for real, and if she let go of that job that she got out of blue she was sure that she was going to hustle for a long time finding another one.The trio played thier favourite game of "rock, paper scissors" to cheer up Tessa for a while before going to sleep .....♡

She woke the next day and reach out her hand to dismiss an alarm, she went to wash up , when she came out crying her hairs she woke up Milly and Sarah, in their house she was the only one that wasn't a sleeping log, and it ever happens for her to wake up late then Sarah would be late at her workplace and Milly at school, so they were dependent upon her, she was simply their alarm.She dressed up in a skirt that dropped down to her knees and an office shirt with heels, she kissed them goodbye before leaving. The moment she arrived at the building's entrance she froze scared to go inside, she gave up and turned to leave her heart could not endure being around someone she felt uncomfortable with, a white Rolls Royce parked before her , the guard opened the door and Jordan stepped out of the fancy car oozing with riches, good looking. Her eyeballs enlarged, Jordan walked towards her and handed his briefcase to her hands "Let's go" she gusped for air which seemed to be not available at the moment, she wasn't aware of what to do , her eyes followed his back going to the entrance, she shook her head and ran to catch up with him, he was welcomed by ques of workers as usual, he nodded and carry on walking, Tessa was not used to walk in a speed and ended up running to catch up with his steps .Jordan suddenly stopped by an elevator and turned to Tessa who standing right behind him and they collided, she mive back real quick "Sorry sir!" she bowed, Jordan turned ahead "Get in and press floor number " she creased "Huh!" he pointed her to the button "The floor number " she hit her head "Aaah! yes sir" she pressed floor no 8th as the door closed. She stood in front of him avoiding his face , she was shaking to the core and sweating from the running earlier, her heart beating rapidly, Jordan who was standing behind her noticed her worries it was all over her face 'She is so scared of me as if I am a beast' he though with a smirk , he can't blame her for it , because he made her feel that way , he scared her on her first day at work but still somehow he was relieved that she came today or else he would blame himself forever...♡

The elevator stopped at its destination the door opened and they got out heading to the office, he walked straight and sat to his chair and she stood right at the front with his briefcase on her hands, she was holding the handles so tight that her palms turned red.he couldn't take it anymore and cleared his throat "I am Jordan Brighton and you are.." she faked a smile facing the table instead of him "I am Tessa Michael sir" he looked at her face for a while , she was still not calmed down , she couldn't hide her emotions "Aren't you gonna put that down ? I am sure it's heavy " she snapped out of her thoughts "What!" he pointed the briefcase "Aaaah! Sorry sir" she placed it on a mini table that was tmat the middle of the couches "You may go... I'll get someone to give instructions about work" she bowed "Yes sier".Once she closed the door she let out a sigh panting heavily, she leaned ont he door "I wonder how much damage would my heart be for acting dumb" she walked to her desk , shortly after came a man "Hello! ms.Tessa right?" she agreed "Yes sir and your are....?" she smiled at him "Oh I am Tom and I'll be your mentor for the time being " she got up and shook hands with him "Thank you sir" she smiled again her tiny eyes like a chinese "Just call me Tom, now if you'll excuse me" he pointed for her to let him seat on her chair "Oh okay " she got up, he stretched his body "So this is what you have to do , plan meetings, record minutes, follow up meetings also he motioned to the telephone on th table answer calls, taking massages, handling correspondence..." he sang it all at one time , Tessa stood there dumbfounded by what Tom wa directing her "aaaaam! Miss Michael are you there?" she shook her head in disbelief "Sorry Tom but ... I didn't get anything " she lowered her embarrassmed by her stupid mind , but the task were too many for her to process , he smiled "Oh really? Okay then borrow me your ears now mama" he braced himself to start from A to Z , Tessa picked up her notebook and a len to note down this time, he was so fast....♡
