1 Where it all began.....(Prologue)

Lielah was trembling, but she tried to keep it to the minimum. Instead she focused her glare on the men standing right next to me who did the pleasure of bashing her head to the windshield while he handcuffed her hands behind me.
Bastard.
To say Lielah wasn't scared would be a lie, but she was a Michelson and she would rather Die first than show any hint of weakness.
'Men thrive and live for a weakness they can exploit, so don't give them any' she remembered her father's word that he had spoken to her over her 14 years of life until they had been engrained into her brain and became a part of who she was.
But it didn't meant she wasn't panicking out of her damn mind. She had only went to the bathroom for a few minutes to find her guards gone and before she could turn back or even shout she had felt her mouth covered and a syringe injecting into her neck. She didn't even had the time to struggle before the world had tilted on its axis and the rest of the way she saw everything laying on the backseat of the car.
Ofcourse, the two hours ride and her daily intense workout had thrown out the drug from her body long enough for her to move and carry out her short time formed planned.
She had even shot the driver and his equally shocked colleague before she had made her escape out of the car. To her unluck, she had already entered the Carlo's territory and surrounded by a number of men in an instant.
Still she had fought and taken 2 of the men down before a third one came behind her and had bashed her head and handcuffed her. He was also the man who was currently staring down daggers at her for shooting his leg, now all patched up and free from blood.
'I mean who does that? Attacked a girl and that too from behind. What an excuse for a man' Lielah huffed out her breath even after knowing the circumstances she was in and saw the men narrowed down his own eyes at her, as if reading her thoughts.
Lielah just smiled a Cheshire smile at him in return. Oh boy, someone's snippy.
