7 Agreement?

"How are you feeling?" Mr. Han suddenly asks.

"H-huh? Me? Oh, I'm fine I guess…" I replied as I felt my heart beat faster inside my chest.

"Are you free today?" he asks.

"No, I have classes. As a matter of fact, I have another one in 35 minutes," I answered.

"Okay," Mr. Han says as he focuses back on the road.

I just realized that I have no idea where Mr. Han was taking me. Isn't this what mom used to warn me about??? Didn't she used to tell me not to get into strangers' cars??? I mean it's not like he's going to kidnap me or do something bad right?

A few moments later, the car stopped. Mr. Han stepped out and I followed. Closing the car door, I realized we were at a park. I immediately wondered why he brought me here.

"Come on, what are you standing around for?" Mr. Han calls a few feet away.

Following him, we went into the park. Mr. Han brought two ice-cream cones then sat down at a nearby bench. Handing one to me, he pats the seat beside him. As I sat down, Mr. Han turned towards me.

"Sorry you had to witness all that earlier," he said apologetically.

"Oh it's okay! I'm sure you have girls chasing after you all the time," I commented.

"Zi Li is quite different, my mother arranged for her to be married to me. She's trying to get me to engage her and it's quite bothersome," Mr. Han explained, letting out a sigh.

"Well I'm sure she would leave you alone for a little bit now that you've told her you have someone else in mind…" I said as I ate my ice-cream.

"Zi Li won't fall for that, I know she will try to pry sooner or later. Which brings me to my second point, would you like to have a permanent position in the company?" Mr. Hans asks.

"A permanent position? Then my internship…" I trailed off.

"You would still have your internship because the HR department still needs to know if you're qualified but I can guarantee you a job position after your internship ends, so how about it?" Mr. Han said, smiling.

Excited about the opportunity that I'm getting, I agreed.

"But how does that relate to Zi Li?" I asked.

"You'll see," said Mr. Han, a smirk slowly forming on his face.

"That reminds me, I never got your name," he said as he pops the last of the ice-cream cone into his mouth.

"I'm Yuri, Yuri Lebedev," I replied.

"I know it's a little late for formal introductions now but it's a pleasure to meet you Yuri," Mr. Han says as he extends his hand.

"Likewise Mr. Han," I said as I proceeded to shake it.

Afterwards, Mr. Han offered to drive me back to campus. Walking back into the school, I tried to organize my thoughts. I couldn't believe that I got an internship and a promised job position only a few weeks into my university life. I also got to personally meet the CEO of a ginormous company. Somehow, I think I'm getting myself involved in something more than what meets the eye...

I eventually brushed that thought aside and head to my class. By the time I walked out of the school again, it was near lunch hour. I only have one more class today and that's not until 1:30 so I decided to go off campus for lunch. Waiting by the bus stop for a trip into the city, I saw Shinji running towards me.
