Chapter 71

Renee met with Valerie to go over what she wanted out of her wedding. They were getting married on New Year's Eve so they could always end the year on a high note. Renee liked the thought of that. She had always wanted to get married and have a big, fancy wedding. Of course, that was never going to happen now, but she could still dream.

Valerie gave her the budget for the wedding. Renee's eyes got wide at the 15,000 dollar allowance. What did her fiancé do for a living? That was on top of paying her $5000 for the job since she was going to be keeping everything updated for 5 months. They had even paid her half of it upfront.

Valerie wanted a band to play at the wedding. They wanted a venue that was big enough for 50 people but could hold 100 if necessary. They were okay with it being a church but it didn't have to be. Renee wrote down all the details they gave her and set up another appointment to meet up with them to check in on what she was doing.
