After Harper received that invitation, she was preoccupied with the fashion show in the days that followed. It didn’t take long before Harper realized this was where she needed to be.

This was what she was supposed to be doing instead of being a housewife. Now that Harper thought about it, she felt like she had wasted half of her life, and it was all because of a man who ended up cheating on her.

Shaking her head, Harper peered at the passing clouds appearing beside her. She chose a window seat while Gwyneth had covered her eyes and tried to get some sleep.

On the one hand, Harper was too edgy to keep her eyes closed. She was both nervous and excited.

After a long time, this left Harper exhilarated. She couldn’t sit still on the plane, but she needed to keep herself distracted.

Opening her phone, she found another message from her brother, Davis. It had a photo of a bouquet and his heartfelt message for Harper.
