Chapter 1: Childhood Friends

I woke up because of the alarm clock beside my bed and realized that I have an appointment to come. Today is weekend so we're about to go and drink with my childhood friends. I'm about to get up in my bed to get dressed when My friend Kiel knocks on my door.

* Keil knocking on my door *. " Angge, are you already awake? Hurry up, we're going to be late. We will pick up Keisha ". Kiel said loudly.

" Getting dressed soon ". I replied to Keil. When I open the door Keil is waiting for me. " Sorry, let's go". I said to Kiel while putting on my shoes. We got into Kiel's car and headed to Keisha's house to pick her up.

I'm Angelica, Angge for short. 23 years old. Kei and Keisha are my friends since we were in high school. Kei and Keisha are the same age as me. Even though I know that Kei and Kiel were getting married at the age of 27 I still had feelings for Kei. Now we're about to go to Keisha's house along to the club to drink. Kei is a drunk bastard and Keisha is such a shy girl and me is balanced.

We reached Keisha's house and entered their house. After we entered the house we saw her parents sitting on their couch. " Hello Auntie and Uncle, where's Keisha? ". Kiel asked Keisha's parents. " She's been there in her room for a while now ". Keisha's mother answered. " Keisha came out already, Angge and Kiel are already here ". Keisha's mother said loudly.

We heard the sound of opening the door, I space out while looking at Keisha wearing a nice black tightly party dress. " Sorry, guys did you wait too long? " Keisha asked us both. " No, we just arrived. This is the one who is in a hurry ". I answered Keisha while pointing at Keil. I can't think of anything to add to my answer and something words get out of my mouth. " You look stunning Kei, you're so beautiful ". I gasped and covered my mouth after I heard what my mouth let out. I can't lie she's beautiful.

" Aunt, Uncle we are leaving ". I replied while placing their hand on my forehead. [ It is a respectful culture in the Philippines for older people ]. " Okay, take care of my daughter ". Keisha's father said. " Don't worry uncle, we'll take care of your princess ". I replied while smiling.

After saying goodbye to Keisha's parents we immediately left the house. " Come on guys, it's already late ". Keil said while rushing to get in the car. " Just chill boy, you have a girl waiting for you, don't you? ". I replied to Keil with a teasing tone.

" Shut up, just get into the car cmon let's go ". Keil said to me and Keisha. " Okay okay ". After a little argument, we get into the car and Keil starts driving.
