Grade Zero Talent

City 13 of the Fire Nation, The Largest House in the City 13. A sixteen year old young man yawned lazily and opened his eyes. He streched his perfect body and got out of the Bed.

"Sky, Get Ready, you would have to join the Elemental Fire Academy today." His mother's bell like voice rang out from downstairs.

The young man called Sky, lazily brushed his teeth, lazily got into a bath, lazily walked downstairs.

He sat opposite to his mother on the dining table and munched on his breakfast. The Breakfast was delicious as ever.

"Why should I go to the Academy mother? I am a no grader talent. I can't even practice the Elements." The young man exclaimed as he munched on his food.

While Humanity was able to practice elemental magic, they were dived into grades based on their talent to practice elements.

Sky, the young man, was a no graded talent. Meaning, he won't be able to practice elements at all. It was obvious that he did not need to go to a Academy which trains people in their elements.

His mother had paid a large sum of Fire crystals to the Fire Elemental Academy to let him join it.

Sky did not like this, why must his mother suffer due to him. He did not like this at all.

His mother smiled. "My baby, why do you say that? Naturally, I have a reason to send you to the Fire Academy. Emi is also joining the Academy. So is Rize, so why are you not happy?"

Emi, she was his childhood friend. When they were younger, they were stuck to each other like glue. Well, Emi stuck to him like glue to be exact. But it did not change the fact that Emi was one of the most precious person to Sky.

Rize, Sky met her after Emi had gone to the Water Kingdom for a check up on her constitution. Seems like Emi had a constitution that could not be 'graded'. In other words, Emi's talent in Elements was out of the current reach of humanity.

Rize was a fifth graded talent, someone who was at the top grade in the Fire Nation. There were only three five graded talents in the Fire Nation and she was one of them.

But Rize loved to be Sky's Lover more than a five graded talent. Rize proposed to Sky on her fifteenth birthday and Sky had accepted her.

It had been a year since Sky and Rize became lovers. But they were the only two persons to know that they loved each other.

So his mother's statement, 'both Rize and Emi are joing the Fire Academy' shocked him.

First thing, Emi should be back from the Water Nation, this was a good surprise.

But the second thing, about Rize, Sky did not know how to react.

His mother smiled at his conflicted face and stroked his cheek. "Mother knows everything about you. I won't tell your Big Brother about this, so you don't need to worry."

Hearing this, Sky sighed in relief. The main reason that he hid his relationship with Rize was his Big Brother.

When they were young, his Big Brother had decided that Sky would marry 'Emi'. His Big Brother was so struck on this that, he chased away all the girls who tried to approach Sky.

His Big Brother was a 'Ninth Graded talent'. The highest grade that human can posses, and this was only because of his speed of advancing in Elemental Magic. No one knew his real talent.

With his superior grade Talent, he could literally crush each and every human in the planet, so no one dared to oppose him.

Sky sighed and got up. He cleaned his hands and picked one of the best magic Fire Wands that were placed on the wall.

Fire Wand was a Weapon that allowed the user to exert more control on his Element. It was made by using the Demon's bones and a Fire crystal embedded at the top.

Sky took his wand and walked towards the Fire Elemental Academy.

As he reached the gate of the Academy, Sky found an incomparable beauty standing before the school's gate and waiting for him.

She gave him a slight look before she walked towards Sky and took the wand from his arms. She examined the wand and aimed it at the gate of the Academy. She then revolved her internal energy into it.

Suddenly, the temperature of the surroundings raised and a huge fire ball struck the metal gate and melted it to liquid.

"A level seven wand." Rize exclaimed as she saw the wand once more.

Sky smiled bitterly and nodded. Rize destroyed the Gate of the Academy just to test the Wand's level, this was too much for even him.

"Who did this?" A shout rang out from the inside of the Academy as a middle aged figure appeared near the destroyed gate.

Sky hastily moved forward and took out a low graded fire stone. This low graded fire stone was valued thousands of times the value of the gate, but Sky still took out and placed it the hands of this middle aged figure. "Instructor, can you drop this matter." Sky asked in a polite tone.

To destroy the gate of a 'Elemental Academy' was a huge crime. To destroy the gate was to declare your opposition to it. Normally, this crime was too huge to be forgiven, but with a low graded fire stone, everything was settled.

"Hump! I will just write it off as an accidental occurrence this time. But next time, you better be ready to face the consequences." The middle aged figure eyed Rize from the corner of his eyes as he spoke.

He had already known that it was this girl who destroyed the gate. But he still took the low Gade stone from Sky and dropped the matter.

Sky sighed as he watched the back of the middle aged figure who was leaving. "Too reckless." He scolded Rize with a fake serious expression.

"Hump! I am a grade five talent, no one would make trouble even if I destroy the whole academy." Rize snorted at Sky.

Sky sighed helplessly and walked inside the Academy. Rize caught up with him and entangled her fingers with his. They walked like this to the Academy's New Student's section.

Fire Nation was too huge, but there was only one academy that taught Elemental magic in the whole Fire Nation. So the academy was built too large.

In here, there were people from all around the Fire Nation. The people from City one to city thirteen, everybody come to this academy to learn fire Elemental Magic.

Since the academy was too huge, most of the people you meet in here are strangers. Sky and Rize did not need to hide their love before strangers, so they walked hand in hand.

Soon, they reached the New student's section. Sky saw 'around ten thousand figures inside' and sighed.

Fire academy's goal was to train high level Fire Elementals. They only accepted student's with talent of grade three or higher. But there were still ten thousand students in just the new student's section.

There were about hundred instructors who handed each and every student with a tablet.

Once they were done distributing this tablet, a senior looking instructor got on the stage and started speaking. "What you have in your arms is your identification tablet. All of you place a drop of your blood on this tablet."

Each and every student pricked their index finger and dropped a drop of blood on the tablet.

A series of changes occurred inside and the empty tablet started shining. When the shining subsided, a series of information was on the tablet.

This information included the students name, their age, their talent, their compatibility with the fire element, and so on.

Sky sighed as he looked at his zero compatibility towards Fire Element.

The senior instructor then introduced the Academy and it's history to the new students.

It took a full four hours of explanation before the senior finished his speech and dismissed the students.

Each and every student was assigned a room in the Academy's dormitory and they had to check in today.

Rize followed sky into his room and kicked the other roommate from it, and made herself comfortable in Sky's arms.

Sky could only sigh once more. Rize was just too forceful, she did things she wanted to without a care for other things.

He hugged her and stroked her hair gently.

Suddenly, the door to Sky's room was pushed open and five people came inside. One of these five people was Sky's roommate who had just been kicked out by Rize.

"Sam, it's that bitch that kicked me away." He pointed his index finger at Rize and shouted angrily.

A dashing male with a huge build stood before this group of five people. He was Sam, their leader, a grade four talent.

But Sky did not care about that. How dare this guy call my Rize something like that? Sky fumed in anger as he left Rize and walked towards Sam and his group."behind the dormitory, now." He said as he shoved these five persons away and made his way to the back.

Sam, the leader of the group was stunned by Sky's behaviour at first, but he eventually smiled evilly. 'Hump! Even a grade zero talent dares to be this arrogant before me? See as I teach you a lesson.' Sam thought evilly as he followed behind Sky.

Sam had seen Sky give a low grade Fire crystal to the instructor at the gate by chance. Even Sam, who was a Fourth grade talent did not have the liberty to give away a low grade Fire Crystal just like that. So Sam thought that Sky was one of the three five graded talents in the Fire Nation.

He wanted to maintain a good relationship with Sky and earn some fire crystals, but who knew that when Sam looked at Sky's tablet discreetly in the New Student's section, he found out that Sky was a zero graded talent.

So when his friend told him that Sky's girlfriend had kicked him out of his room, he immediately gathered four others and made his way to the room.

His initial plan was to ask for some fire crystals to compensate his friend, but who knew that his friend would scream badly about Sky's girlfriend as soon as they reached the room.

Sam was forced to change his plans. Instead of earning fire crystals through compensation, he decided that he will bully Sky and get them.

Soon they reached the grassy land behind the dormitory. Sky turned back and charged towards his previous roommate. This guy was the one who spoke badly about his Rize.

But before Sky could reach him, a huge fist smacked into his face and sent him toppling down.

Sam was a fourth graded talent. The higher the grade, the stronger one's body was. This was due to the fact that they would need to control elements of higher power. If the body was weak, how could they control a mountain of fire. They would be the first to perish if their constitution was not strong. So, usually, higher grade means stronger physical body.

Students were not allowed to use elemental magic to fight, without a instructor's permission in the academy. But the academy did not mind them using physical strength to harm each other.

So Sam was pretty confident in smashing a few teeth off Sky's mouth.

Sky's nose was bleeding from this sudden punch to his face, but he still got up and looked fiercely towards his previous target. He did not care about Sam even when he was injured by him.

Sky once more charged at his previous target. Sam snorted and punched once more towards Sky's face. But as Sam's punch reached Sky's face, Sky's body revolved in a strange manner and dodged this punch.

Sky dodged Sam's punch and landed one of his own on his previous target's face with all his might. "Crack!" A small sound of a bone breaking, could be heard all over the surroundings.

Sky's face distorted in pain as he felt his knuckle bones break. Sky did infact punch the person who scolded his Rize, but the bones that cracked were his own.

His opponent was a grade three talent. He had a physique that was at least hundred times stronger than Sky's. Sky's punch to this person was the same as him punching a hard stone with all his might.

His knuckle bones have broken, but Sky's fierce expression did not. He lifted his leg and kicked the other person's balls with all his might. This was the most sensitive place in a human's body. No matter how strong your physical body gets, this part will always be your weakness.

"Ahhhh!" Sky's opponent's face distorted in pain as he fell down and caught his balls softly and screamed in pain.

Sam was enraged at Sky. "How dare you attack my friend?" Sam screamed and punched Sky from behind with all his power.

It was said that a grade one talent had a body that was comparable to ten times a normal human. A grade two had a body comparable to hundred times a normal human. A grade three had a body that was comparable to thousand times a normal human. A grade four talent had a body comparable to ten thousand times a normal human.

With a strength of ten thousand times human strength, Sam's punch pierced through Sky's behind and ruptured his heart. Just like that, Sky was dead.

Sam jumped back in fright as he watched Sky's ruptured heart. "I didn't mean it!!!!" He screamed as he ran back into the dormitory.

His friends were helpless as they were also scared. They carried the injured person who was catching his balls and went inside the dormitory.

Rize who was inside her room, felt her heart ache suddenly. But soon, she calmed down and looked behind the dormitory through the window.

"If you can kill my husband by just rupturing his heart, then he would have died millions of times already." She sighed and walked towards Sky's unmoving body.

By the time She reached Sky, Sky's ruptured heart was already healed and he was breathing slowly.

She lifted his body and moved towards their room.

But, just before they could enter the room, a lightning like beam of light, suddenly appeared in the sky and struck Sky's eyebrows.

Sky immediately opened his eyes and looked at Rize. His eyes gentle as he hugged her. "Little third!! I am alive. This is not a dream right?" He hugged her harder.

Rize was dumbfounded by his reaction. 'Little third', it had been a long time since someone called her this.

But when she heard Sky calling her 'little Third', her whole body shook. "Do you remember?" She asked as she pushed him away to look at his face.

But Sky fell unconscious as soon as he hugged Rize. He was currently smiling with his eyes closed. Seems like he was having a happy dream.

Rize sighed. ' a momentary remembrance?' She thought. She thought that something influenced Sky to remember her for a short time.

She sighed once more and took him inside the room.
