6 Revenge! (2/2)
The blob spewed out a fountain of water and I evaded using [Hop] and [Dash]. It seemed annoyed that its shot missed, moving faster than before.
I noticed a crimson blur and something on the back of the blur, but I paid it no mind.
'Hah! Think you can catch up with me? I'm not as weak as I was before-'
A blob of water hit me straight in the head, causing me to tumble.

I almost fell into the river, but the blob jumped on me and secured me before I could do so. I tried using [Bite] multiple times, but it didn't work. Then I felt tingling.

I poured all my point into strength and attempted to burst my way out of the slime. The slime expanded, and some of its areas got thinner. Wasting no time, I used [Bite] and cut through those places. Now the slime split, all of its pieces falling away.

I saw my gender change. It couldn't be.. I couldn't be a girl..
Suddenly, a wave of calm washed over me, and I knew it was my skill. I had also dragged the slime back, maybe to harvest it. I concentrated on the slime.

A crimson lizard surveyed the small forest from high in the sky. The lizard looked like a regular every day dragon, but upon its back was a normal, poorly dressed young girl. To think a beast like that was docile enough to be handled by a human girl-who didn't even look tough in the slightest-was odd.
The girl and the dragon looked at a clearing in the middle of the forest and the dragon continued to circle it.
The girl patted the dragon on the side. Rumors were that there was a strange beast living in the clearing, but they saw nothing. She would probably have to report to Chief Ozzao that this was a safe place to move their clan.
"C'mon, Spark. Let's head back, I need breakfast anyway." This earned a snort of smoke from the dragon, and they flew away. The only thing surrounding the forest was a small village and giant, ragged mountains with snowy peaks.
They flew through the mountains, making sure not to go too high as the air was thin and it was cold. Past the mountains was a bigger forest, and mountains that weren't so high.
"It isn't called the Creature Sanctuary for nothing." She said, reminding herself of the fact thousands of creatures lived here her clan had no idea about, and probably weren't tame enough to be handled.
The veered off to the side of a mountain with multiple caves and openings in it, and they landed on grass beside a river that came all the way from the other forest.
She dismounted and the dragon immediately, darted into one of the caves, followed by loud roaring and snorting and thuds as he met his own family.
'Father will be mad for me being gone, but after breakfast, I'll tell him my findings and maybe I'll be off the hook. We will have a safe place to take the creatures and a place to live that hasn't been destroyed by humans, I'll become a hero, and the rumors of it being dangerous will keep others away!'
She smiled at her fool-proof plan. Now she just needed breakfast.. She did remember seeing a rabbit before, the odd thing was, it seemed to fight a slime on the night of her departure.
