The mighty serpent was in her slumber, her massive green scales the equivalent of three massive horses. Very few dared to come into Dreads cave, fearing death. But a normal human boy, dressed in simple leather clothing, approached her. Dreads eyes snapped open, slits boring down into the boy.

"Folisssh boy..." The serpent hissed, her voice echoing through the cave.

"I have come to make a deal." The boy's voice sounded small and clear, not like the rumble of the serpent's. "I asked your fellow Divine Beasts, but they didn't listen. You know the system preventing souls from reincarnating into this world? And the tiger stirring deep within its cages? Now is the perfect opportunity for you to grab the Beasts' pieces of the key."

"I am lissstening. But what do you get out of it? What are you trying to propossse?"

"You and the tiger always wanted to rule the world with an iron fist, and now that's a possibility. While reincarnation is supposed to prevent any unauthorized souls from entering the world, something has slipped your notice. You see, a certain soul as entered a rabbit, which I think is the result of divine beings over-"

" Sssusssh! It is not posssible! Do you not fear me? The other beasstss will get in the way, and like the war before, we ssshall lose! As for this bunny, I will crusssh it with my teeth, and then I will decide when the time isss right." The serpent bellowed causing the boy to flinch.

"I thought you would say that, so I have an idea..."

'I have about 10 HP left, with a leopard and a tiger, both about to come wrestling me.' I sighed, opening my status for a useful skill against Kin.

Using [Dash], I evaded one of Kin's arrows and activated [Hop], allowing me to dodge while getting closer to him. I jumped up, using [Kick] on him and then roasting him with [Demon Flames]. His fur was scorched, and he fell back, rolling around.

"ROOOOAAAAR!!" A yell from behind me startled me. The tiger was huffing, holding a piece of my webs. His health was fully regenerated. He raised his paw in the air, causing it to glow, before he clawed the air, causing slices through the air to come at me. I evaded them with [Dash] and leaped onto the tigers neck. He grabbed my body, throwing me to the floor.

He was about to claw again when I used [Black Thread Creation] And webbed up his hand. Then I set it on fire. Dashing around, I used [Bite] and bit his ankle, drawing blood. The tiger howled. But I didn't stop there. I scurried up him, biting, burned, and webbing him. After his eyes had been burned out, he fell back with a thud, dead.

'Syn? Why am I not getting exp?'

A searing pain in my back distracted me. Then another. Then another. The leapord was using [Rush], and even with my pain resistance, it took scary amounts of health.

I had just one HP left. Using [Acrobatics], I evaded further hits, but the leopard chased after me, pumping his legs, using [Acrobatics] too. Turning around, I shot balls of the flaming web. He dodged them, a murderous intent on his face, and I could feel weakness crawling in on me. Using [Hop], I jumped into the air, and came down with my head, blowing out a fire to light up my head for a devasting headbutt.

There was a crunch, then silence.
