The full body of Kin came out. He looked like last time I saw him, slender, short, and wiry. He had the same bow, but it looked a little worn out. He had a claw mark on his cheek. His tail curled as he advanced.

'He must be some sort of panther..'

"You guys smell that?" Kin said, back towards the bushes. "That's the smell of fresh rabbit!"

"And that's also the smell of spiders, centipedes, and water." Another voice came from the bushes, as another catlike creature appeared. Instead, he had a stronger, bulker looking frame and was spotted like a leopard.

"This isn't a rabbit. It's a bunny." Another voice said, and another catlike beast came out. He was average height, had the same bulky build as the last one, and had stripes like a tiger.

'So Kin is the runt, and a archer. The other two are his friends and stronger?' I asked.

"Who cares? Hare, Rabbit, Bunny, who cares?" Kin said. He pointed my direction. It was possible they didn't see me, but you can never be sure.

"That's where the delicious smell is coming from, huh?" The tiger said.

" It could be hiding in there. Or it just won't come out from fear, or it could be asleep. Let's take it by surprise." The leopard said, and they all crouched, activating stealth.

'Not again.. what do I do, Syn?'

I used [Black Thread Creation] with [Demon Flames] to make a sort of firewall around my base, startling them.

"That isn't a normal rabbit!" The tiger whispered. He wanted to go first, and launched towards me. I blew fire, burning him severely. Then I spit webs on him using [Black Thread Creation] to keep him to the ground.

"It burns! Help! AHHH!" The tiger writhed in pain. It wasn't getting out. The others cocked back, but I noticed the tigers health.

And I knew they wouldn't leave a fallen brother behind. The leopard roared, then charged at me. I jumped out of my den and kicked it on the nose. It did nothing, and the leopard used [Rush] and started wildly slicing and clawing at me.

I spit webs using [Black Thread Creation] and combining it with [Demon flames] to his eye. He jumped back, grabbing the webs and stumbling around. I spit more webs, tying him to the floor. I was badly damaged, and I was open to arrow shots from Kin. The tiger was still struggling, his healing skill working. So was the leopard.

'Sh#t, I need to kill them all, NOW!'
