A message popped up in front of me. It was on a blue screen. It was weird, but I have read scenarios of this. There was one explanation: I died and was reincarnated.

'Where is my op ability?' I said in my head.

I saw the messages. I know what situation I'm in.

I was as weak as hell. I was a frickin rank F-?! My health was only 20?! I was level 0?! In shock, I scanned over my gender, not noticing I was female.

Only now, was I able to take in my surroundings. I was under gnarled roots of a halfway-turned tree. This was a small clearing, with trees lining around in a circle formation. I looked down, seeing humongous furry white feet.

I sighed. I didn't feel like moving, as this body was uncomfortable.

{Hello.}

A voice startled me. It seemed to be calm.

{Do not panick. I am your skill[Syndria's voice]} The voice said. This seemed to be good, I could use the extra help.

{I would recommend you to move and try to get comfortable.} The voice said. Sure, there may be weird stuff around, but I don't want to be a rabbit. I want a refund. I sighed and tried to walk. For some reason, I kept falling and slipping. I did start to get comfortable and used to the body though, to I had made it a meter away from the tree.

I heard shuffling about a few meters away from me. I turned and looked at the bushes. A blue orb jumped out, shifting on the pressure. It had no eyes and no mouth. The orb jumped to move.

My rabbit mouth gaped open. I was staring at a actual slime.

I saw the blue message before me, but I was too awestruck. The slime hopped over to me and a blue liquid shot out towards it and hit me in the head. I fell down, the force was so strong that I'm sure I might've broken something.

After that, the slime hopped away, continuing on it's business.

'I know' I thought, trying to get up. I failed multiple times, but I used my arms to finally gain some leverage. Water dropped down my snout.

{I suggest you go look for food to regain your health while I scan for any potential threats.} The voice said. I internally nodded, and hopped my way towards a bush in the clearing.

I attempted to use my skill [Examine] by chanting it in my head.

I suspected that the reason I didn't see much was because of the low level [Examine] was. I was a bit hesitant at eating leaves, but when I took the first bite I realized that my taste buds were different.

And oh my, did leaves taste good. I chewed on them for a few minutes while my health slowly went up. My health was almost full when Syndria's voice said something.

{You should hide, I sense a lifeform stronger than you coming towards the clearing.}

I tore off a leaf with my mouth and hobbled into the bush. As I turned, I tried to calm my breathing and crouch lower to the ground.

I stuffed the leaf into my mouth as I heard a branch crack. A foot stepped into view, presumably followed by a body. A catlike creature appeared. It was black and skinny and short, and it stood on two legs.

It had a bow in it's left hand and a quiver straped to its back with a few arrows. I used [Examine] one it.

That's all it showed me. It seemed I would have to level up [Examine] a lot more. I still didn't understand how I adapted so quickly, but I guessed it was do to the skill [calm].

The Demi-human's ear swiveled as he sniffed the air. Wrinkling his nose, he made a decision and darted back through the way he came from on all fours.

'HUH? WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME THIS COULD HAPPEN?'

I sighed and bounded out of the bush. I would have to get out of this clearing if what the voice said was true. This was all so different from what I expected. I needed a goal, I needed to set my mind straight and start thinking about how I will get stronger.

'This was a bad start to my new life, huh?'
