9 A sudden drift

We finally reached our destination as I woke up Irina is still asleep on my shoulder I wake her up since we are here as we got out of the bus and formed a line waiting for our teacher instructions

Sensei: alright everyone listen we are going to learn about farming everyone go from a few groups and follow the instructions given by the farmers carefully

Sensei: did everyone get it

everyone: haiiii sensei!!

we all went to our groups and followed the farmers to work on the field as we planted crops by following his instructions

we all worked hard and sensei took a few photos of us working in the farm

as the day passed we reached the end and were going back home since Irina and I were in different group's I couldn't confess to her

oh well I can still confess to her on our way home or when we are alone as I was thinking

Irina: hey Yuu farming was really fun right I really enjoyed it!

Yuu: oh..yea..h it was fun

Irina: hey what's the matter you seem to be disturbed by something

Yuu: no it's nothing

as I said that the bus suddenly went into a tunnel as we reach the exit I suddenly felt a pressure as I was shocked by it while Irina also seems to realise something was wrong as we headed towards exit the outside climate changed from clear sky to heavy thunderstorms

as we were shocked by the sudden change in weather as we don't know what happened suddenly a huge force hit the bus as it fell off the cliff

Everyone was scared and began screaming as they closed their eyes

Yuu: ' at this rate we are not going to survive the fall '

I thought while the bus made a drift and fell in deep pit I utilise the power of my familiar which I can currently summon only once a day and for a short period of time but I have no problem in utilising a fraction of its power

I used the lightning to make the bus electro magnetic which repuls the magnetic force of Earth and made it slowly hower damn controlling lightning like this is really hard and exhausting

the bus landed safely without anyone getting injured but everyone was scared and teachers did their best to calm them down

Irina: Yuu are you alright you look pretty exhausted

Yuu: no I am fine

we got outside the bus and went to a nearby tree to take cover from the rain.

Yuu: ' system where are we '

but the main thing puzzling my mind is that were we specifically targeted or it was a coincidence and if we were targeted what could their reason be could it be something to do with me but I'm confident that I hid my powers really well

As I thought of these things I looked at Irina who was scared and holding my hand tightly

Yuu: don't be scared I will protect you

as I said while holding her hand back to which she says

Irina: I don't know but I feel something is wrong with this place it makes me feel chill through my spine and for some reason I think it is going to get a lot worse

I was kinda suprised by her intuition to sense danger with it she can probably be a great swordsman

Yuu: yeah you're right

as I said I realised that we are more in more danger than we know as I thought

Yuu: ' system do we have anything in store that can notify the location of person '

As I confirmed it in my mind a small pink colour charm appeared in my hand as I watch Irina in her eye and said

Yuu: Irina I want to you to wear this and don't take it off or loose it no matter the cost promise me okay?

she looked me in the eye with puzzled expression but hung the charm on her neck like a pendent and said with a smile

Irina: now I don't have to worry about loosing it

I too smiled back at her while sensei who went out to find for help didn't return which made us worried while our homeroom teacher lit a campfire since it was dark and everyone was still scared while a few were still sobbing

since it was not safe to sleep outside sensei took us out to explore around the forest while leaving a small message in direction they went in case any help came and went in search of a cave or a place where we can sleep safely

Luckily we found a small cave which a bit too cramped for all and many students complained and cried about it

our homeroom teacher Nishimura sensei finally made everyone fall asleep and himself fell asleep as I looked at him and sighed since he fell asleep leaving us unguarded

Irina and I leaned against the wall since there wasn't any place for us to sleep we stayed up together while talking and stayed awake while keeping watch with my all seeing eye and spirit sense. since I know there was something out there that is not just some wild animal but some supernatural that I couldn't detect which meant two possibilities which mean one it is stronger than me and can conceal itself well while later it was outside my detection range

Irina: hey do you think we are going to be okay

Yuu: don't worry we are going to be fine I'm sure everyone is trying to find us

Irina: yeah your right mom and dad would be searching for us and come to our rescue at anytime

she smiles and leans her head on my shoulder and fell asleep in a few minutes as I continued to keep the watch whole hoping someone could really come to our help soon but little did I know that help wouldn't be arriving anytime soon and things would be getting more chaotic from here on
