5 Looking after me

"Hi." Yoo Na says waving her hands to the figure but the girl walks in with a glare without returning Yoo Na's greeting.

"You are so dead!" The girl says gritting her teeth as she approaches Yoo Na with a glare. Yoo Na chuckles returning a playful gaze, "Yah! Hwang Bo Ra, you seem angry, why?" Yoo Na says making the other sigh in exhaustion.

"Where the hell did you just go? I had been looking around since… it was good that I found Ms. Lin on my way and she told me you were here!" She says huffing out a breath, she looks around and walks to the bed taking a seat at the edge.

"But… why are you here?" Bo Ra questions with a frown, Yoo Na chuckles looking at her feet, she follows her gaze just to gasps in surprise. "What the- how did you get hurt?" Bo Ra rushes to Yoo Na with her shocked eyes examining her properly.

Hwang Bo Ra, Yoo Na's first friend she made ever since the New Year started, Yoo Na always had no intention of being a friend because no one was interested in being her friend but Bo Ra was different. She was a beautiful girl but a nerd who busied herself in books instead of makeup which most of the girls do in school.

Yoo Na was shocked when Bo Ra approached her and asked to be her friend, it felt pretty well but she was not sure if she should really accept but as days passed by Yoo Na was getting comfortable around her. It was as if she found someone who can bring her true nature out, how she was liking her company.

And there she decides to befriend her, in all the life she lived, Bo Ra was one among very few who never left her side and so she was assured and comfortable around her. Though it had been a few weeks they met in this life but Yoo Na felt as if it had been long.

"Yah!! I asked you something!" Bo Ra's loud yell made Yoo Na flinch back to the world out of her thoughts, "Uh…?" She questions unsure of what her friend said. "Never mind… are you going home today?" She questions making her sigh out a breath nodding her head.

"Yea, Uncle Choi will come to fetch me." Yoo Na says receiving a few nods of approval from Bo Ra, Yoo Na turns around looking at herself in the mirror, "Don't you think… I look like a mess?" Bo Ra chuckles at her question. "You doubt?" Bo Ra questions making Yoo Na scoff but she gives in laughing.

"I think I need a bit of improvement… can you help me?" Yoo Na says looking at Bo Ra through the mirror, Bo Ra smiles smugly with a smirk, "Of course!" She yells giggling happily. "I will make you totally different, just wait and watch!" Bo Ra fists her hands in the air with a proud smile.

"Yah! I just said a few improvements… I don't want a complete change." Yoo Na shakes her head in disbelief at her friend's excited demeanor.

"It's better than nothing…" Yoo Na says sighing out as she eyes her friend pouting in disappointment. "It is better to be… anyway simple is perfect. I don't want you to be someone who you aren't." Bo Ra says patting her back.

"Anyway, you should be sitting on the bed." She says pulling Yoo Na along with her to the bed and making her seat. "But how did you injure yourself?" She questions tilting her head to the side and waiting in anticipation. "um… I almost tripped down the stairs." Yoo Na says looking away trying to avoid looking at her.

She was feeling bad to have lied but she couldn't tell her that she was about to jump down the edge, Bo Ra nods her head, "I am glad you still are in one piece." Bo Ra laughs watching her glare, both laugh at the end.

"Are you taking a leave for a few days?" Bo Ra questions with a brow raised though she knew what her answer would be. "I think… I have to."

"Uh? I didn't notice it… but where is your eyeglass?" Bo Ra questions with her wide eyes, Yoo Na chuckles as she recalls how she threw her glasses away- far away. She shrugs off smiling to herself, "I threw it away." Bo Ra gasps in surprise.

"Can you see without glass?" She questions still trying to get things into her head and understand, Yoo Na clears her throat and nods her head slowly. Bo Ra gasps loud enough letting the other know she was shocked- I mean seriously so so shocked. "Really?" She still questions not believing her, Yoo Na nods her head once again.

"Tell me what this is?" Bo Ra says raising her index finger in front of her face, Yoo Na scoffs playfully and looks away with a fit of giggles escaping her lips. "That's your index finger and you are showing one… am I right or am I right?" Yoo Na says with a playful smirk while Bo Ra chuckles smacking her forearm.

"Yeah, you are right…" She mumbles chuckling to herself.

"It's so amusing that-"

"Yoo Na, your driver arrived so pack your things and go home." The nurse walks in announcing her departure cutting off Bo Ra, both of them had their eyes on the nurse. "I will go bring your bag… you should head out." Bo Ra says standing on her feet and dashing out of the room.

The nurse approaches her and helps her stand, they both walk out of the room into the hallway while Bo Ra runs towards the class. "Come on let me help you." The nurse speaks holding Yoo Na by her arms, "Thank you so much, teacher." Yoo Na says with a smile on her face.

"It's okay. Take care of yourself. I will leave a sick slip with your teacher- oh I forgot he knows about this." She says to herself and awkwardly chuckles brushing off her embarrassment.

"Omo, my dear~! How did you get hurt?" The elder says approaching her with a concerned look, he indeed cared for her. Yoo Na smiles sweetly at the elder worrying for her, "I am fine Uncle. Choi. "

The elder looks at her with his eyes squinted, "You sure?" he says tilting his head to the side. Yoo Na flashes a sweet smile and nods her head. "Are you sure you wanna go home?" Mr.Choi questions again, his face now laced with worry and pity, Yoo Na hated when people pitied her but with this elder who had looked after her all those years she could care less.

She felt grateful for him being there for her when everyone left her.

"Where would I go if not there? Anyway, they will know about it..." She trails on her words with her head hung low, she sighs lifting her head up, and smiles at the male.

"Shall we go now?" Yoo Na speaks bringing the man out of his trance. He nods his head with a worried look and helps her get in. "Thank you so much, ma'am. " Yoo Na says once more smiling at the teacher when she gets tucked in carefully inside the car at the backseat.

Mr. Choi walks to the front and helps himself in the seat, both of them buckle up their seatbelt before the car roars at the start of the engine and rush away like it was fleeing a scene, the nurse watches the car disappear from her sight before she makes her way back.

"Uh? Ma'am?" The nurse turns around at her being mentioned, she found Bo Ra running towards her, "Did she leave?" The nurse awkwardly smiles nodding her head. "Uh? Then what about her bag? I ran so much for this?"

BoRa says with a sigh escaping her lips as she collects herself to catch a breath after running here. "She must have forgotten about the bag. Drop it to her on your way back home." Bo Ra exclaims out a sigh and nods her head.

"Now go back to your class." Hearing that Bo Ra sulks making her way back, she looks back at the road where the car just disappeared before she walks inside the school.

"We are here. " Yoo Na snaps out of her thoughts once she heard the elder speak, she looks around and she found herself in front of the house. The house in front of her looks like a mansion which was her home yet seemed so cold. She couldn't say this was her home but that was what it is.

How she wished this big house had their owners with big heart, she sighs as she found the elder helping her unbuckle her seatbelt. "You need to take rest before other witnesses it." He says hurrying in bringing her inside.

"I know uncle. Thank you so much for looking after me." She says with a grateful smile. With that, she makes her way to the door limping slightly with the other supporting her.

"Look who is here?" Yoo Na tense at the sudden question.
