6 Meeting Andy (Flashback)

Flashback:

"Mom are you ready? " she asked. No reply. She sighed. It was the third date this week. Her mom loved Dan. It wasn't that she didn't find anything wrong with him... just that... that nagging feeling that tugged every so often.

He was wrong.

She shook her head as the doorbell rang, and she ran to open it. There he stood, smiling at her. She shuddered, even his smile was unnerving.

"Hi girlie" he said as he ruffled her hair fondly.

"Hello" she replied softly.

"Where's your mom? " he asked. She signaled toward the stairs. He smiled and walked up. She stayed down. She heard an exclamation as he surprised her mother.

"Dan! You surprised me! "

He replied with something cheesy. She grimaced as the cold wind from the open door hit her bare arms. She turned to close the door and saw Dan's car parked outside. A boy sat in the front seat. She assumed it was his son Andy.

She smiled while he continued to watch her. His gaze wasn't hateful but leering. It held an amount of lust in it that made her uncomfortable. She shut the door.

It was all in her imagination. Why would they be bad people? Right?
