10 First kiss

Wu Jinyan lifted her eyes to look at the man. His lips wore a faint smile and his eyes were serene, she thought the complex look she saw previously was all her imagination.

She couldn't believe he stood like a rock for half an hour with no trace of any emotion on his face when she continued screaming like a crazy woman. But he reacted spontaneously when she addressed him as her hubby.

Gosh! His behaviour was just too childish.

Wu Jinyan came to her senses when she heard his low, sexy voice "It's the only right way for you to call me....don't you think so, wifey?"

Wifey!! She gawked at the man like a bird electrified by the power line. 

This man was too good at speaking, her heart was now swimming in honey. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath to calm her thumping heart and spoke awkwardly "But I'd better call you as President Gu outside the house"

Of course, he would let her call him however she likes when in public but not when she's around him.

Gu Zichen leaned forward and whispered in her ears seductively "It's upto to you how you call me in public but I want you to scream my name only when you are under me" 

Scream his name!

Only when she was under him!

What was he even speaking!!

Her heart pounded like a drum and she covered her red cheeks with her hands when she finally realized the meaning.

"Pervert..who wants to scream your name?!"

Now that she was no longer under drugs, she became too alert and was not the same lustful woman who wanted him to take her away and eat her. She's now back to her usual shy turtle self, she couldn't help but rush to hide from him just with a single comment from him.

Moreover, this man seemed too mercurial for her to understand him. His mood changed in a blink and he spoke too much rubbish all at once to trigger her weak heart.

Gu Zichen chuckled as he saw her running out of the room. Teasing her was real fun but he still felt uneasy and unsettled no matter how much he tried to convince himself. He did not know if he made the right choice by marrying Wu Jinyan.

He just wanted that someone from his past to realize what she missed by not choosing him. He wanted her to regret her decisions after knowing he's no longer her man.

Nothing mattered to him as long as he could achieve his goals. As for Wu Jinyan...He's yet to see what's really waiting for him.

Nevertheless, it's true that he's now a married man with a wife. A cute and beautiful wife.

The maids were surprised on seeing their master walk into the dining area. They knew he was too busy with work and never had time to eat at home. 

But this time he seriously did come to eat.

Was he not busy with work?

Was he not going out tonight?

He cancelled all his meetings?

They had too many unsolved doubts running in their minds. Nevertheless, they still prepared the food again as per Wu Jinyan's order. This set of dishes were simple, more nutritious and much lighter. 

"Eat more..your body is still weak" Gu Zichen silently ate everything as Wu Jinyan continued to pick food for him from the side.

At some point of time, Wu Jinyan put down the chopsticks and asked him in confusion "Wait..you are eating fine. But I heard you never eat at home"

Gu Zichen raised his brows and asked "What do you think? What could be the apt reason for me to not eat at home?"

Wu Jinyan thought for a moment and said nonchalantly "It's not that you don't like to eat at home..I think you simply hate eating alone.."

"Hmm..You are smart" Gu Zichen chuckled staring at her.

'This woman's not bad' He thought.

"Then..why don't you just stay in Gu residence. I noticed that that house is bigger and better than this villa. At least, there will be your parents to eat with you, right?" Wu Jinyan asked recalling the manor she noticed previously. She didn't see his parents but she saw a part of the place. She could imagine the luxury one could enjoy in that house.

The maids were stunned. Their master was someone powerful and stood with an air of superiority and dominance around him oppressing others, no one dared to speak an extra word with him, but this woman spoke too casually and was brave enough to question him.

Was it because she's their master's new woman?! They had their own doubts but didn't voice them out.

"That...I lived here since I was twenty and went there only when I was summoned. Moreover, my parents would always nag and fight with me as soon as they open their mouths. I thought it's better not to go back. Also this place is much closer to my office"

Hearing he was in the same state as her, Wu Jinyan laughed. "Haha...really. My friend Zhang Xiaoyuan is also the same. She starts nagging and scolding me as soon as she opens her mouth. When she heard I saved you, she even warned me not to waste my blood. Funny. Haha..."

The atmosphere was no longer gloomy and became more lively with her laughing and chatting with him.

Little did she expected, her innocent actions ignited something dangerous.

Gu Zichen did not understand why he began to explain things to her when he never liked to talk about him with others but it was evident that he felt calm and peaceful on seeing her tiny face adorning all kinds of expressions while speaking to him.

He did not understand or hear what she was saying anymore as he simply felt an urge to move closer to her. In the next second, he placed his hand behind her head and brought her face closer to him to press his lips against hers.

Wu Jinyan was too dazed to realize what in the world was happening to her. It wasn't easy for her to keep herself calm and composed as it was her first kiss ever.

Moreover, it was their wedding night. She struggled for a moment to accept the kind of act she was getting into and somehow broke her walls of shyness and let his tongue slipped into her mouth.

It was no more an one sided battle and she responded to his kiss. She closed her eyes and wrapped he rhands around his neck as he took charge to lead the kiss further.

When the scene before the maids changed from a casual chat to an intimate action, all their faces flushed red and they were stuck in an awkward position. They all turned around at once.

Sensing the awkwardness he brought upon, Gu Zichen broke the kiss immediately and picked Wu Jinyan up from the chair in a precise move and threw her over his shoulder and walked upstairs.

They got married and it was only right to have a proper wedding night. But deep underneath, he knew it was his burning primal desire that made him lose control suddenly and the term wedding night was just an excuse to cover up the lust brewing in him.

Placing her on his bed, Gu Zichen looked at the tiny woman in his arms. He asked for her opinion. "Wifey...Are you willing to become mine?"
