1 Already Married

The doors to a large private room of a high end restaurant were opened. Outside the room stood a young woman who was in her early twenties.

Her outfit was quite casual and simple and with no extravagance. In contrast, her looks were remarkably stunning and extremely captivating, one would never hesitate to take a second glance at her.

 "Jenny, you are here" Wu Hao spoke on seeing her. He had a bright smile on the surface but sneered internally. He was relieved that she really came to meet him just with a single phone call. He knew the reason behind her deep devotion towards him. Even though he kicked her out of the house three years ago, he was still the same man who adopted and raised her.

Wu Jinyan's eyes landed on the man who just spoke. Those wrinkles and age spots on his face were quite evident but the hostility, despise and aggressiveness he displayed while throwing her out of the house was no longer visible on his face.

Back then, he didn't believe her no matter how much she explained. He took only his daughter in law Wang Qiang's manipulating words into consideration. Since she failed to reach his expectations and brought shame to his family, he ruthlessly disowned her without hesitation. In his eyes, she was an ungrateful person who brought shame to the family while his real granddaughter Wu Meihua was the kind angel who saved the family's reputation in time.

Nevertheless, she hoped to see a sliver of worry and affection on his face after all these years, but her hopes were burnt down to ashes when her gaze met his eyes filled full of anticipation. He didn't contact her or tried to meet up with her but showed sudden interest after three long years. From the second he contacted her, she had only this one thought. 'Was it because he really missed her?'

But now on seeing him now, she laughed at her own thoughts. He raised her, an orphan as his daughter not out of love but due to his need of a loyal dog, someone whom he could control like a puppet.

Wu Jinyan saw a new face in the room but still entered the room. However, she simply stood by the closed door watching the men at the table.

"Dad, she ran off to a foreign land on her own. She didn't even inform us even when she returned. That brat left our family for good. But now you want to bring her back?!!" Wu Xian said in fury. He didn't expect to see this sister of his again.

Even to this day, he did not understand why his father adopted Wu Jinyan as his daughter. She was young and of same age as his own daughter, Wu Meihua but he never welcomed this country girl as his sister.

Wu Hao gave a warning gaze to his son to not bring up the past before her. He couldn't let a simple issue from the past influence his future development. At the moment, he was about to obtain something huge. He just need to sell this young lady to someone powerful for him to gain more profits.

How could he lose a good deal that came knocking on his door?

Three years ago, he failed to marry this girl into Mo family as exchange to the properties he received from them but his granddaughter Wu Meihua replaced her and somehow got benefitted in the end.

Now, his prime aim was sending Wu Jinyan to Han family. He need to grab more supporters to develop and broaden his business further.

"Father, how can you forgive that ingrate just like that? You cherished her but she brought shame to our family" Wu Xian said disregarding his father's warning.

He knew the rumors of Wu Jinyan's pregnancy and the ruckus that followed was just a simple game played by his wife and daughter but he stayed silent only for his own daughter's welfare. His daughter Wu Meihua got settled in a wealthy family and ultimately succeeded in kicking that country bumpkin out of their family. But that fellow was back again. He wouldn't let her to disturb their peaceful lives. Having Wu Jinyan back was not at all good for his family.

"Don't talk anymore. I just kicked her out in a fit of rage and she left the country on impulse. She's just a little girl, can't you be a little considerate" Wu Hao hissed.

He picked her as a worthless rock and chiseled her into a fine figurine over the years pouring his hard earned money. She had to pay for what all he did to her. There's nothing like a free meal in this world.

"Jinyan...Come to dad" Wu Hao turned to look at Wu Jinyan and said patting on the seat next to him.

Wu Jinyan casually walked towards the table but sat on a chair far from Wu Hao and asked "What's the matter?" 

Wu Hao was slightly displeased but still calmed himself before saying with a smile "My good daughter, it's been a long time. Let's eat first. See, I ordered all your favourite dishes"

Wu Jinyan looked at the exquisite dishes on the table. Indeed, they were. Not hers but originally his favourite.

She pitied her past self for a moment. She was really an idiot to believe, follow and blindly worship a scumbag. 

"I've got some other business to attend. Just get straight to the point" Her gaze was calm but her tone was extremely impatient.

"Ohh..okay. This is Young Master of Han family, Han Shifeng. He saw your picture a few days ago and he liked you very much...." Wu Hao started off in good spirits but on seeing the girl's face, he mumbled his last words. 

Wu Jinyan stared at the old man with an expression that was hard to explain but one could sense she was truly displeased. 

"A slut like you doesn't deserve to be my daughter, get out and never show me your disgusting face" Those stinging words he said three years ago were still clearly ringing in her ears. But he was still expecting to reep benefits using her as if nothing happened. He was the same shameless man but she was no longer the same dumb girl to nod her head and get tied to the man he showed.

To think she would still stay filial, loyal and be grateful to him for adopting her...he must be dreaming. Even a loyal dog would bite the owner's neck once it was beaten and threatened. 

Her eyes moved towards her brother Wu Xian who was staring at her as though she's an eyesore. A little away from him, she saw Young Master Han dressed in a classy suit. He's not particularly handsome to say but he was practically drooling looking at her.

'Tsk...Another animal!!' Wu Jinyan knew her face and enchanting figure could stir any man's heart but she would serve only the man she wanted and not some random person like this 'Han... something'. She would rather lie than accept her father's kindness in finding her a partner.

"Oh, no. What to do?" She lowered her head as if she's ashamed and simply continued in an innocent voice "Sorry..dad. I hope you don't mind that your daughter already got married without telling you"

She immediately stood up, bowed as if giving him a sincere apology and without bothering about the expressions those three men had on their faces she strode straight out of yhe room and then out of the restaurant.
