1 Ch. 1 Awakening

"Mmmm.." I woke up and see that the clock show 06.00 am. My body is sluggish and feels heavy. Maybe because I'm nervous about today.

The world right now is Year 21xx. After the incident in 2020. Many countries join together to find a cure for a pandemic. They found the cure but that is not the only thing they found. Some strange occurrence happens to people in the United States. After they inject a prototype serum. People begin to manifest supernatural power.

Some people can use fire from his body, other people can see things far away with just his eyes. Many kinds of Supernatural power manifest in human beings. This makes all countries try to make their own army with supernatural people in it. Which is the reason war happen in 2050. History calls it "Apocalypse War". Why it is called an apocalypse? because in the same year. New entities begin showing on earth.

That Entity has a grotesque body and eats all human who has supernatural power. They feed on normal humans too. The humans call them "Magician Eater (Mater)." The magician is a title for those who have supernatural. It has many grades, starting from the lowest bronze magician to Platinum Magician. The grade followed the mineral way, Bronze, Silver, Gold, and then Platinum. Every grade has ten tiers, Starting from 1 to 10. The country assigns the grade by the merits said magicians do in their battle against the Mater.

This is the reason why after 2050, mankind decided to end their conflict and cooperate with each other to defeat their common enemy. It is ironic that the monster who is the enemy of mankind is the reason why peace is happening right now.

Many years after the war, every potential magic user is registered for a special school in each of their countries. The graduate is compulsory to join the military to fight Mater. In the beginning, many supernatural users against this rule. But after the great loss in 2075 because fewer strong magicians join the army. The sound of protest is gone.

Today, the Mater attack is stabilized and every country is able to defend their country with their own magician. But the development of the magician for the war is never stopped. I'm one of the supernatural people with some power.... it's what I hope.

After I finished watching the documentary about magicians, I took my breakfast and get ready for school. My is school is a special school aimed at magicians. Every potential user automatically joins the school. The Magician can only join the school selected by the government. There is no option to refuse. I'm happy if my power is strong like others but...

After that incident, many doctors try to find the cause but to no avail. That is why I try to balance my shortcoming to study hard academies and tactics or strategies to fight Mater. My hard work still gets me the mockery called"Trash" Magician.

The first time I know it, I depressed and stay at home for a day. But I realized that nothing changed by doing that so I continue doing my best at everything the best I could.

*Kraak*

"Good morning, guys" I try to cheer up and greet my classmate. Nobody reply to my greeting.

With a solemn face, I walk to my desk and took a seat. I open the book from my bag and start reading. Today I will reread about the first-year subject. But even this action of mine got interrupted.

"Why you're still coming here, TRASH!" I look up and see muscular students walk slowly to my seat. He has blond hair and blue eyes. His face is normal but he has a bad temperament and bad reputation in this school. I don't know why he really loves to bully me. His name is Alex Gale. He is from a prominent family, but his attitude is like a peasant.

"Because I'm students, what else?" I answer calmly and watch his action next. If he wants to punch me, I must ready to dodge. It's expensive to buy medicine for skin, you know?

"You...How dare you look at me like that...""stop it"

A beautiful voice makes Alex stop, he looks at the source of the sound and sees a girl there. That girl has beautiful blond hair and purple eyes. She has a bountiful chest and slim body that make Model in shame. This girl is Alicia Storm, daughter of the Storm family. Her family is a magician from the first age of superpower begin.

At this age, usually magician only marriage with another magician. Because they want to continue their magician lineage. That is why it's rare for magicians to marry non magician. Because the magician family usually will not agree with the marriage.

"You should stop there Alex, as a proud magician. You will not conduct ourselves with embarrassing action like that" Alicia said with a stern voice.

"Chk, you're lucky this time, trash"After hearing her command, Alex stop his hand and return to his seat.

"Thank you Alicia for the help" I thank Alicia and give her the best smile I can.

"It's okay. His attitude is too much. But you're not free from fault. You must stand on your own ground so people don't underestimate you" She gives me advice and then walk away.

I grit my hand so hard that it's beginning to hurt. That's right, I must grow stronger. So I can protect everyone dear to me.

With that determination, I study hard for the upcoming class.

#lunch break#

Just like other schools, this school has its own cafeteria. I hurried myself to buy lunch before the seat is not available. Simple lunch A is the menu I choose. This one is the cheapest meal this school has. I am an orphan so the allowance I have is so little that I have to minimize my spending.

Soon when the mission board is available for freshmen, I will do much mission to increase my lifestyle. I hope there is a simple mission that even weak magicians like myself can do.

When I start pondering, I realized that I already took a seat and start eating. Just as my lunch is half-eaten, Alex comes with his underling. He tries to smack my head but I dodge it so Alex loses his balance and his face slams hard to the table.

"Hahaha, so stupid" Many students mocked Alex for his condition. Every student here has a high reputation so only people from small families like myself afraid of Alex.

Alex's face is beet red because of shame and he drags me outside with his men. "Come here quick, trash" of course again I evade his hand.

"You don't need to use force. let's go" I confidently follow Alex and his men to a desolate corridor. His men started blockaded the exit and Alex preparing his magic.

"How dare you make me lose face back there. Trash should just crawl under the earth." Alex starts attacking me with his Magic.

Gale family's specialty is wind. That is why they usually have a mission to scouting or capturing rogue magicians. The rogue magician is a magician who uses his power to do bad deeds. Even so, Alex has enough firepower to capture or kill another magician.

Lucky, his attack still childish so I can read the trajectory ahead of time and evade it in time. More and more Alex's attack is missing, his face becomes redder and redder from anger.

"This is it! I'm done playing with you." He started using a more powerful attack to kill me.

Their task is to capture and rehabilitate any magician that causes trouble. Alicia herself is a member of this group and one of the potential future leaders in the group. That's why many members happily follow her command.

"Are you okay, Sebas?"

I just smile and thank her for the help. Why Alicia always come right on time? especially when Alex comes to bully me. Could it be?

"Wait a minute" I caught her hand and Alicia have a surprised face. Her cheek becomes slightly red and she orders her comrade to send Alex and his men to the displicinary chamber.

"what is it, Sebas? can I ask you why your hand grasped mine?" Her face back to normal and I can see slight thunder on her head because of panic.

'is she agitated? maybe I'm wrong about this

"I'm sorry if I'm wrong. can I ask you something?"

"What is it?" She hugged herself and make her beautiful breast become bigger. I hope this hunch of mine is true.

"Do you.. love me?"

Second, minutes. I feel like the silent eternal. After more minutes. Finally, Alice has a reaction and her face becomes red like tomatoes.

"Wha....what are you saying. Of Course not! don't even think about it! you and i live indifferent world. There is no way I'm in love with you" Her word is not matched to her body. She started stuttering and looks like a confused person. She started to run quickly but I stopped her with the same gesture.

"Wait"

"Wha..?"

Because she unprepared this time and my strong pull force. Alicia loses her balance and almost falls. I caught her with reflex. Lucky or not, my lip and her lip meet. We kissed.

After a while, we broke our kiss, and Alicia's face redden and started talking."What are you doing! that was my first kiss!" with teary-eyed she started to turn back and run from me. Before she went, she said.

"I will take responsibility for this!!!"

Alicia starts running and leaves the corridor like a hurricane.

My mouth is agape at what happening and I touch my lips.

"It was delicious" That is the last word I said before I return to the classroom after lunch.

The surprised me don't realize that the tip of my hair and finger started to show mini thunder. This thing will surprise me next time.
