4 4. AI Watch

Ajay was walking on the road looking around, there were mainly residential houses and very few tall buildings. The main buildings were around the town centre ahead. There were many bones of human beings but not a single living being. There is no footmark or sign of any living being. There were many robots and cars on the road. There were few complete and the rest were mainly damaged. The cars were full of sci-fi style and were all-electric. There was no energy in the battery of all the vehicles and robots.

After approximately 100 meters of walking, Ajay saw a high-end residential area. The houses were all bigger than normal houses back on the road.

Ajay entered the residential area. He came to the front of the door.

'The door is locked' Ajay tried to open the door but there was an electric lock. He tried to forcefully open it but in vain.

He went around the house to find another entrance in the house.

'Ah, there, the window is cracked' Ajay quickly found a slightly broken window.

Crash

He quickly Broke the whole window with the metallic bat. He jumped into the house through the window. He looked around, the house was covered in sand but not much. There were 4 to 5 rooms in the house. The future was slightly futuristic and the electric appliances were full of sci-fi style.

Ajay started to look around and tried to find some useful thing. While searching, he came to the lobby.

"What the fuck, is that a human?" Ajay was startled to see a man unconscious lying on the floor. Ajay became more cautious, he gripped the bat with both hands. He moved slowly step by step towards the man.

"Is he dead? there is no movement. let's check with the bat." Ajay slightly pushed the bat and poked the man. A slightly metallic collision sound came.

"What? is it a robot? Their technology level is so advanced." Ajay bent over and inspect the robot. The skin felt like a real person's skin. No one can tell the difference with proper inspection. It had also the same button, a charging slot and a long chip slot.

'Well If the robot is here then its charger will be also here. let's search the whole house carefully." Ajay went to search for anything that looked like a charger. After a few minutes, he found a charger that looked like a laptop charger in one of the rooms. He found a few clothes in the wardrobe. The style of the clothes was almost the same as earth's but the material was far superior.

'Let's not pick clothes from here. I will find a clothing shop or mall to select a few clothes.' Ajay murmured. He searched almost every corner except one room.

'This room is bigger than the other rooms. It looks like a master room.' Ajay came in front of the room. He tried to open the door but it was locked.

Ajay took a step back, he lifted his right leg and pushed it in front with his all strength.

Bang

A loud sound resounded in the corridor. The gate slightly trembled but resisted the shock. Ajay continued to kick the door, after a few tries he broke the door lock with force.

The room was very large. There was a king-sized bed in the room and there was a skeleton laying on the bed.

'Looks like he is the owner of the house.' Ajay said in his mind.

He looked around, there was a robot was lying on the floor beside a chair. There was a + red coloured sign on its chest.

"It looks like a health care robot. There is a watch." Ajay looked at the robot and then looked at the table beside the bed. There was a watch and black sunglasses on the table. Ajay went forward and picked the watch.

"It looks so good. It looks like a smartwatch. It can be charged, right?" Ajay questioned himself whether it could be charged. He flipped the watch, he found a slot on one side of the watch. He picked up the sunglasses, and watch and went out of the room.

He felt slightly uncomfortable sitting beside a skeleton. Ajay went towards the lobby and sat on the sofa. He opened his backpack and picked solar-powered charger. The solar-powered charger had multi pins covering almost all the models of charging.

He saw the slot carefully and used the general pin which most mobile phone models use like Samsung, Vivo, oppo and others. The charger connected with the watch smoothly. A smile came on Ajay's face without him knowing. He sighed in relief.

After connecting, he searched around to find the place where there was sunlight to charge the watch.

He was slightly excited because he searched the house carefully.

'I didn't find a phone or laptop or any other device. It was odd not to find any device in such a big house. Maybe their technology is so advanced to convert the phone to shape the owner likes."

He stood up from the sofa and brought the charger where the sunlight was prominent. He stood nervously there for like 30 seconds. His forehead was covered with sweat.

After waiting for what seemed to be 30 minutes, the watch gave some signal.

"It turned on," Ajay exclaimed happily.

The screen on the watch turned on and a very short animation started to play.

"Wow"

Suddenly Ajay exclaimed in surprise as a figure showed up above the screen holographically.

"That's some high tech. This shit can only be seen in movies." The figure looked like a girl around the age of 16 years. It was of mixed race, no one can tell the nationality of the girl with a glance whether she is like Asian, European or other regions. There was not a single expression on her face. Her face was flawless, perfect eyes, nose.

"She is so beautiful. More than 90% of TV stars are not comparable to her." Ajay said without knowing.

<Hello, sir, Alice is at your service, How may I help you?>'Wow, English. It's good that she speaks English, if it was another language like Chinese or Japanese, it will be a problem. "Ok Alice, tell me why is there so much sand all around here and there is not a single human, only some bones and skeletons of the humans. Why is everything so rundown and dilapidated?" Ajay started to find rhythm in speaking English and started to speak without watching his words.

<Sir, There is no sand around here, The middle continent is full of trees and greenery.>
