2 Chapter 2- Questing Pt.1

When Izumi came to once more she found everything to be many times bigger. Had she been reborn as a baby? No that's not right, looking at her "hands" she saw instead orange paws. Great, now she needed She remembered that a screen asked if she wanted to join the game and live, so she accepted. Now she was just left wondering where she was.

'Hello, anyone out there!' "Eevee, Eevee!!!"

"Beep."

'Wait, that sound. Why am I just saying Eevee?'

"Welcome System Wielder. You are now the proud holder of the Pokemon Simulation System. With this system you can be a wide variety of Pokemon given that you have unlocked them within the system by temporarily morphing them. Right now you are a Pokemon named Eevee. A normal type Pokemon known as the evolutionary Pokemon. You can also temporarily give access to a person one of your forms to act as your Pokemon. When this is done they unfortunately lack the fine motor skills you'll possess with this, as such its better to only use this function for defenseless people to give them a slight ability to fight back against threats you are dealing with."

With the message over a couple of illustrations popped up of a few creatures. One of them titled a Eevee.

Taking in the message in it's entirety I was first disappointed at having no way home mentioned, but then excitement took over my being. I was basically being given a Quirk. Now I to could help people like I had always wanted. And to make sure no one got hurt I could use this bestowal feature as well. "Great Pokemon Simulation System, how do I get home?"

"Starting Quest Initiated

Get to level 10 before a year passes. Otherwise the user's human body will unfortunately die. This is caused by the system not having enough power to combine your new Eevee body with your human one. This will make your body continue its fall, and the system will have no control over the body as it is technically no longer the host's soul container. If you succeed in the mission. your bodys will be connected, and on top of that you will be awarded with free travel between this world and your world."

Thank you system for giving me a way out of my situation. I'll work hard and not let you down. Tell me whatever you need me to do. I'll repay this favor for saving my life however I can. "So how do I level up?"

"The system recommends that the host battles other Pokemon and trains herself. Of course the user can chose to ignore this advice and try and complete some of the smaller missions I will assign during this period of time. The host can also gain experience by meeting new species of Pokemon and learning important facts about them.

"Understood system," I replied with a semi-mockish salute.

After walking around a while trying to find a place where I could sleep for the night. I came upon a easy looking prey for my levels. Getting ready to try and hide and slowly sneak up my plans were foiled when the creature looked my way.

"Congratulation host for seeing a Poliwag. The Pokemon has been added to the Transformations section of the store."

Getting distracted I didn't notice the bubbles heading towards me until it was to late.

"Congratulation host you have seen the move bubble. The host can now learn with move from the move shop."

Obviously the bubbles were dangerous. Me being on the ground, definitely didn't tell me that already system. The sarcastic remark seemed to draw a laugh from someone somewhere. Dodging around the other bubbles the best I could feeling the utmost naturalness from the actions I couldn't help but wonder if this was the mentioned motor skills in effect. With the thought an instinct took over my actions as I swept at the ground and slung sand at my target. Somehow nailing him in the eyes the creature started firing bubbles in every direction to the best of it's ability. Of course in the situation with my body's skills all the attacks missed.

Running towards the target with all the power in my body I tackled the target to the ground with all my might. Miraculously on the way there, my body started shining with some sort of power.

"-20Hp"

Can you please hold off on the messages during battle I couldn't help but mentally eye roll. Do you want me to kill myself after you just ended up saving me. Sadly it didn't seem to care.

"-10Hp"

Deciding that I couldn't help the system with it's current attitude I just ignored it and kept tackling Poliwag as it was disoriented.

"-30HP, opponent Poliwag has fainted +64 exp added. You are now level 4."

Now that the battle was over the adrenaline was leaving my system and I couldn't help but consider how I acted. Had the system made me into a battle junky. Oh well, it was a small price to pay for living. Unfortunately for me it seemed the battle made me extremely tired. Dragging myself away I eventually came upon a abandoned cave. Well cave was an exaggeration. It was more of a small hole with a rock in the center of it that I could use to rest on.

"Host has found a teleport point within the Pokemon world. When host gains the option to freely teleport between Your world and the Pokemon world you can chose to spawn here or somewhere random."

With that message I was out like a light.

It was the next day that I finally felt better. Honestly I felt stronger and faster too. It seems level ups needed a slight time to come into effect. "Good morning system." "Good morning Host. The system is slightly astounded by your progress and natural instinct. Keep up the good work."

'Time to go hunting then,' I mumbled to myself.
