Devil in the Night

There are two sides to every coin. And their are two sides to every person. The sun keeps the darkness at bay. For in the dark lies all the monsters and creatures of the night. The predators, the hunters, the blood thirsty and the deranged. But worst of all, it hides the demons and monsters that prey on them. "Look at him, he looks loaded and he's alone, perfect target" "All right, lets get him bois." "Hey!" A large muscular figured shouted at a lean man browsing his phone beneath a street light. The figure turned, and bright yellow eyes pierced the night. His blonde spiked hair turning in the direction of the voice. A group of five approached the lean man. The moon illuminated the gang and revealed glowing markings across their bodies. On each pair of arms stood out a symbol of a three headed dog. The mark of the Cerberus gang. The glowing markings shining in various neons were illuminated by the moon. One of them called out "now we don't need to hurt ya, just hand over ya valuables and we'll be on our ways, ya dig?" The large muscular figure stood on the edge of the street lamps spotlight holding a large metallic bat. The lean man replied calmly "You have 5 seconds to get out of my sight" and proceeded to look back at his phone. "Ha, thats funny little man" the large figure stepped into the spotlight and smacked the phone out of the lean man's grasp before crushing it with his boot. "Guess I'll have to teach you when to do what your told" the large figure said as he grabbed the lean man by the collar of his shirt. The lean man looked directly into the large mans eyes. Not a moment later the large man was sent flying back into his companions who caught him before his fall. The lean man had his fist extended and was gazing right at the group and smirked happily "I gave them a chance Malaria" before taking a step out of the light of the street lamp. As he cross the threshold markings across his body began to reveal themselves, glowing in red and yellow. The markings resembled fire, coiling around his limbs, attached to his torso that resembled a dragons scales, all beneath the lean man's face. Two bright yellow orbs where his eyes should be, a glowing smile and a line around the top of his head making his hair look like a crown. The gang looked at the figure in panic and fear and the large man quietly whispered "Oh shit, it's Dagon…"

Becoming a dungeon core

There will be mistakes as this is my first time writing. Talk - " " Think - [ ] System - ( ) Author thought - [[ ]] Action - * * In a massive world, many times larger than Earth. Is filled with gods, magic, hundreds of intelligent species, dragons, orcs, goblins, and more monsters and beasts. Yet, they all point swords at each other. This world is made up of several massive continents. Most of these continents are on the brink of war or already in war. Yet some continents somehow find peace with each other. But other than that, this world is mostly stable. But that all changes when souls from different times, dimensions, galaxies, and universes, somehow end up in their world, either being summoned to stop some kind of demon king, reincarnated, or transmigrated. These souls change the balance of the world, either for the good or bad, always leaving a mark on history. Though these foreign souls that are not summoned are really rare, maybe 2 come every thousand years, as summoned ones are called by the gods and people during a time of need. But what would happen when a soul comes to this world, with a powerful ability, one that can change the entire balance of the world? Most would expect this type of soul to be a powerful dragon or a newly born god, yet most wouldn't expect the soul to be a small crystal rock the size of a blueberry. This soul will have a tough time trying to grow strong, especially since many more reincarnated, transmigrated, or summoned souls are popping out everywhere. With numerous foreign souls unintentionally traversing through the fissures of space and time into this new world, what prevents foreign entities from following suit? What safeguards are in place to prevent their invasion of the new world?

The Alpha King's Slayer Mate

[Warning: Mature content no rape or any sexual harassment] “Out of all these women, the King has fallen for that one woman who's trying to kill him!” ────── · · ────── Irene was paid to assassinate the Alpha King Asher, it wasn't her first time killing someone neither it would be her last...atleast she thought it wouldn't be. She didn't knew what grudge the King's enemies had against the King neither did she care, she just loved the money after a well done job. Even though the King Asher already had a future Queen forcefully decided for him he was still looking for his one true Queen and Luna, and when his eyes fell on her his heart recognised her before his brain could. “Mate!” She looked fragile, vulnerable and obedient at first but she was danger in disguise; she was strong, fearless and brave. She was everything that was unexpected and everything he wanted but Irene wasn't here to fall in love with him she was here to kill him and nothing could stop her. ═══|•Excerpt 1•|═══ “So you are here to kill me?” He asked but she could tell by his delighted smile that he wasn't asking her he was just finding the whole situation amusing. “Yes, Your Majesty.” She said, directly looking at him in the eye, warning him that she had no fear of him. His smile grew deeper as he asked the unexpected. “Then what should I do to make you fall in love with me?” “Your Majesty...” She hesitated for a moment but looking at him she couldn't help but be curious. “I'm here to assassinate you.” After getting no response from him she continued. “Regardless relationship between a prey and a predator is always forbidden.” “By predator you mean yourself,” He pointed his finger at her and she nodded joining him in his little play. “And by prey you mean me.” She heard him striding towards her, all the smiles and playfulness gone from his face as he walked towards her with intimidation but she didn't flinch. He held out his hand and gently caressed her cheeks. She didn't reject him neither showed any sign of vulnerability. He came closer, leaning his face against hers, there mouth not even half inch apart and when she was about to close her eyes for an unexpected kiss to show his dominance against her he whispered into her ears. “Fruit always taste better when it's forbidden, don't you agree?” ═══|•Excerpt 2•|═══ He took her hand and placed his lip on it. “Sleep well and have some rest. Today was a long day.” He opened the chamber gate to leave her alone because if he stayed a moment longer he knew he would forget everything and pounce on her. “Asher.” He heard her little voice from behind, even though there was nothing seductive about her voice instead it was filled with exigence for him but the way his name sounded from her lips he felt his last wall of inhibition breaking. He groaned. “Don't!... Don't provoke me woman.” He looked behind him and there she stood, her head down, her hands clenched together. First time in front of him she was showing her vulnerable side to him. Was she sad that he rejected her advances? He turned around and after hearing him shift she involuntarily looked up at him, she flinched as he caught her off guard but as fast as lightening bold strike her face regained her composer again with the mask of lies she wore in front of the world. “Don't worry I will not try to kill you this time.” She challenged him. He closed the door behind him. “You won't be able to lift a finger after I'm done with you tonight.” He brisked towards her taking her up into his arms, his lips collided into hers in an explosion of passion and need untill there was nothing more to devour.
