I'm writing this for fun and practice, I know the whole idea is cliche and overdone but I love it soo I'm writing it. Here's my pitch. Solomon Cain is a U.S. Marine stuck in a desk job and hating life. One fate fateful day he saves the life of a friend, gets hit by a bus for his troubles (original I know) and wakes up in a land made out of darkness with a sea of malevolent red eyes growling at him ... a portal opens up before him and he sees his life play before him from its light. He really one has three options Watch his life playout before him, face what ever is attached to those eyes, or risk it all he has left by jumping in the portal.
