Chapter 18

I walked through the woods of a dead forest with Veelzebub in my hands. As I walked I could hear the cawing of crow, the hoots of owls and the flying of bats. 

This place is mega creepy but surprisingly, I feel comfortable here. Like I would live here for the rest of my life.

The moonlight brightened our path ahead, the air was cold and the scent of rotten meat lingered in the air. So much so that one would be nauseous from smelling the air once. 

" Tell me Veelzebub.. What kind of blood is good for vampires? " I asked out of curiosity. 

>> Human blood... Except the blood of a virgin.. It like honey to vampires <<

I see, no wonder Mary's blood was so addicting. It's a good thing I left or I would have raped her for more of her blood. 

>> Vampires can consume blood from other creatures.. Especially the stronger ones like dragons and Demons  but sadly those races have gone extinct a very long time ago <<

Dragon blood does sound tempting but demon blood is definitely a no no. 

" Is it true that vampires can consume supplements similar to blood such as tomato juice ? "

>> Tomato Juice, I've never heard of that <<

Maybe it's just my imagination. I've actually read stories where vampire drink substitution like tomato juice instead of blood, but vegetables is hard to come by and I doubt anyone would sell one to a Vampire 

Suddenly I sensed multiple presences approaching. We were surrounded from all angles by black wolves with red eyes. They growl and drool as they look at me with ferocious eyes. 

>> Master use me ? <<

" Hm?  "

>> After forming that pact with you.. I used up all my strength.. I would like to replenish it <<

" Okay then "

I spun my scythe and took up a stance. Immediately a wolf  jumped at me and I jumped into the air to meet him. While flying past him I chopped off its head. 

As I was upside down in the air I looked around and then throw my scythe and used Psychokinesis to guide it around.

After landing on the ground all of them attacked me at once. Veelzebub returned to my hand and a second later the wolves was separated into a million pieces. 

>> Well done master, this is your first time and your already using me like a natural <<

After receiving Veelzebub weird praise I tap the red ruby on the ground and using blood manipulation. I gathered all the blood in one place. The red gem and Veelzebub blade glow as it absorbed the blood. 

>> This taste.. It's been a long while since I've had this.. Oh thank you master <<

I can hear it getting aroused after absorbing the blood. At that moment I only knew one thing: this scythe is a pervert. 

" AWOOOOO "

Suddenly, a wolf howled loudly, It called more wolves for help. looking closely, one of its eyes was cut, it's obvious that it's the leader. once again I found my myself surrounded by wolves.

" I guess this is round two " I said.

I swing around Veelzebub. 

>> Let's go master <<

" Right "

1 minutes later,  all the wolves was dead except for their leader. he and I stood face to face with each other.The way that wolf is looking at me, it wants revenge.

" You want payback ? Fine then come at me " I said, 

The Wolf dashed forward and leaped at me. I didn't budge, nor did I felt afraid, I just casually swung my scythe downward and split it's body in two. 

" This is over " I said 

You know looking at it I'm not afraid of blood anymore. 

>> Are you going to consume any blood Master? <<

" Maybe later.. When I encountered more monsters "

We continued to advance through the woods until we came to a swamp. Across the swamp was the gate to leave this place. 

>> Master something is wrong <<

As Veelzebub spoke something creepy crawled out of the water. There was a big ugly humanoid fish looking monster and surrounding it were a few goblins size ones. 

" Wow. Gross.. That's thing looks mega ugly "

I said as I hugged my scythe. I'm not putting my hands on that thing. 

>> It doesn't matter if it's disgusting.. It has blood.. Master.. Let me at it <<

" Hell no.. I'm not going to get you slimy, what is that thing? .. What to do ?.. What to.. EEEK ! "

I took a step back because it was moving its mouth and spitting slime everywhere. I have an idea, My eyes glowed red and second later the little fish monsters eyes glowed red. They started to turn again to their master and devoured him. 

>> Mind Control.. Killing your enemies without lifting a finger, that's an amazing strategy <<

Yeah, It's better to watch these slimy things eat eachother. After consuming their master they turned on each other. I raised my chest high, to think of such a brilliant plan only I can do such a thing. 

This isn't half bad. After they all died my eyes stopped glowing. I jammed the blade of my scythe into the big chest and it absorbed it. 

>> This taste awful..i never want to drink it again <<

" Don't complain you stupid scythe !.. You wanted it.. Now you got it ! " I shouted.

We walked around the lake and soon we reached the gate. Moments later I saw more wolves charging at me. Using the same mind control and the wolves attack each other.

This ability consumes a lot of energy. 

After the wolves finished slaughtering each other I used blood manipulation to gather all the blood into a soccer ball sized blood pool and then I opened my mouth and watched it flow inside. 

"This tastes murky. It's a bit spicy this time."

>> Don't worry master you'll get used to It " 

My powers were replenished a little bit after absorbing the blood. Sure enough, I can see why vampires prefer human blood over others. 

>>How does it taste? <<

Veelzebub asked. 

" Like Ketchup, " I said. 

>> What ketchup? <<

" If you keep asking questions you'll never know "

I jumped over the gate in one leap. 

" Our goal is to travel the world, you and I Veelzebub.. We'll continue to walk our path, " I said. 

>> Yes my master <<
