The Concert
So I decided to follow Mia to the concert today, well I am an introvert and I do not crowded places especially noisy one. This morning Mia brought two golden tickets home looking all excited and giddy.
"Hi b*tch, guess what I finally purchased the golden ticket to Mike Ford concert"
" Ohh, I said looking uninterested and continued using my PC. I was working on a design and I know I'll have to end it soon because knowing Mia fully well, she'll distract me one way or the other.
" So Annie you can have this one, the concert starts by 7pm tonight and I want us to go together" she said giving me the cute puppy eye and handed me one of the golden tickets
" Nah, count me out please you know I don't like crowded places" I said
" Oh Annie, C'mon now you are no longer a kid and you should go out more and stop being boring" she said angrily
After calming herself she said softly " I am sorry for yelling at you like that but I want you to know I love you and I can't keep watching you hurt yourself like this" she sat on the bed close to me
" I know Mia, I just don't know what to do anymore" I said almost crying
"It's okay baby girl that's why I need you to cheer up and show that b*stard that he's not worth it, I know how hurt you feel but it's time for you to let go" She said hugging me and letting me cry in her arms
You can let it out okay, I am here for you always" she said smiling sweetly at me.

I was truly grateful to Mia, she had been my best friend since childhood and has been with me through thick and thin. Mia is like a sister I never had and being the only child I often felt lonely until I met Mia. She's so sweet, bubbly and fun to be with although she's kinda crazy and has put me in trouble a lot we love each other and we are both inseparable.
After calming down I decided to follow Mia to the concert, she's right afterall I should indeed let go of the past.
" I'll follow you to the concert this night" I said smiling
"Woahhh, are you for real" Mia asked looking surprised
" Yeah, it's been a while since I partied so I don't know what to wear" I said
" Wow, now that's my best friend talking....I have missed partying with you so much, no problem dear as soon as I am back from lecture I'll find you something sexy to wear" Mia said winking mischievously at me
" Oops, I am running late already it's almost time for my lecture" Mia said alarmingly after looking at her wristwatch
She grabbed her handbag and rushed out
" Bye girly" She said screaming all the way out.
After she left, I went to shut the door, sat on the bed and stared at the ticket
Olympic Hotel @ 7:00pm
The ticket had the face of Charles Ed on it.....seeing his picture made me understand why Mia likes him so much. Charles Ed has always been Mia's favorite musician, she loves him so much that she had his face and pictures painted on the wall, she even used him as her social media dp and phone wallpaper.
I once joking told her to tattoo his face on her butt and she had said she will consider it.
Remembering it made me laugh so hard, just how much did she like this guy" I smiled and dropped the ticket on the table before settling in my bed.
I couldn't sleep and all I could think about was Greg.
"Arrrgh, why am I still thinking about him"
But the more I decide not to think about him the more I kept remembering him. I still have few hours left before the concert, I laid on the bed pondering on my life recently and how far I have made it to this very point of my life.
