Oh My God

"He literally swatted away the cake! Like he should learn how to be appreciative," I huffed.

"Mhm," said Xi Fang. "Yeah that's terrible. You shouldn't be giving fifty year old creeps cake anyways. They're dangerous."

"He wasn't fifty, he looked about our age, I said, trying to defend my actions.

"Whatever, anyways, that was a really snobbish thing that he did to you," said Xi Fang.

"I know right!" I said. We were walking together towards the car and I winced at how heavy the bags in my arms were. "Why do I have to hold all the bags?" I grumbled.

"You owe me. I picked out such cute clothes for you. I don't want to see you wearing those old rags anymore. You're my bestie. You deserve amazing clothes," said Xi Fang.

I smiled. Even though Xi Fang can be a pain, she was also my best friend. I threw the bags into the trunk and got into the car.

"You need to wear all the clothes that I picked out for you ok?" said Xi Fang.

"Why didn't you let me pay for them?" I asked.

She rolled her eyes. "Because you paid last time when we went out to eat at that fancy restaurant. And you're too busy spending all your money on all that junk food," she said.

"Junk food's good ok?" I retorted. I watched as Xi Fang's expression slowly turned complicated. "What's the problem?" I slowly asked.

"Well, I wasn't sure whether to tell you this or not, but Bao-Zhi came to me and asked where you were while you were in the bathroom. I think he followed us to the mall," she said. My mind went blank. I felt a ball of fury surface into my chest and my whole body warmed up with rage.

"Oh my god. I can't do this anymore Xi Fang. Do you know how hard it is to have a man stalking you all the time?!" I cried out. "Why can't he just leave me alone? I'm so tired of this! I don't love him anymore, WHY DOES HE STILL LOVE ME?!" I screamed. My mind was filled with rage and hatred for Bao-Zhi about what he did to me and how he has no shame at all.

"Wang Shu, calm down, said Xi Fang very slowly. "I would love to have a guy falling head over heels in love with me," she said. I was even more enraged at the sound of that. My mind was spinning at the thoughts of how Bao-Zhi followed me to the coffee shop a few days ago, went to my house more than a hundred times in the past year, and followed me to the mall. Who knows where else he followed me to?

"It's been almost a year, Xi Fang. A YEAR!" I exclaimed. I don't know what took over me but I instantly took a U-turn.

"W-where are we going Wang Shu?" stuttered Xi Fang. I know that she's never seen me this enraged before.

"We're going to Bao-Zhi's house," I said angrily. I tightened my grip on the steering wheel, my attention averting from the road. Bai-Zhi's disgusting face appeared in my mind. I imagined going to his house and slapping him in the face. Or filing a police report against him for harassment. I didn't know what to do, but I was going to do something. For a few seconds, I forgot that I was still driving because of my thoughts distracting me.

"WANG SHU!!" cried Xi Fang.

I heard my name and my thoughts immediately went back to the road. But it was too late.

I screamed as the car crashed into a tree.
