Go Away!

Xi Fang and I both looked up at the same time as a strong, tall figure walked out of the car. "Looks like the two beauties are in a little mess." I sighed as I heard the voice.

I stared down at my pale white hands gripping the cold hard cement, hoping that the person who was walking to us wasn't who I thought it was. I finally looked up as a masculine shadow appeared on the ground next to my hands.

"C'mon Wang Shu..don't be like that," said Bao-Zhi. He reached down to help me up from the ground but I swatted his hand way. I watched a playful lock of light brown hair falls over his eyes and reprimanded myself in my head for ever thinking that his hair was attractive. I put on a stony expression on my face and calmly got up. The words that I've been repeating for almost a year escaped from my mouth.

"Bai-Zhi, please leave me alone. I always have to repeat what I say. Yesterday you "coincidentally" met me at the coffee shop. I said the same thing to you as I'm saying right now. Please leave me alone. I have stopped loving you ever since what happened and I want you to do the same." I stared coldly at his face as it morphed into a defeated expression. I watched as he jogged back to his car and took out a single rose from his passenger's seat. He jogged back up to me and stood only a few inches away from my face.

"Wang Shu..when will you ever accept me again? I know that what I did back in high school was wrong but I believe that our love was true love!" said Bao-Zhi with a sentimental voice. I closed my eyes and winced at his warm breath. This was his daily routine. To come to me everyday and beg for forgiveness so that I can be his girlfriend again. I walked back to where Xi Fang was, who was busy pretending to pick up makeup off the floor even though I knew that she was eavesdropping on our very loud conversation.

"Let's go Xi Fang," I grumbled. While I walked back to my car I felt Bao-Zhi staring at the back of my head. I violently opened the car door and scooted in. Xi Fang sat on the passenger seat with a delicate manner.

"Girl, when will he ever stop trying to get you back?" asked Xi Fang with an annoyed tone. I sighed and rested my head against the steering wheel. I waited for Bao-Zhi to get back into his car and drive off but he just stood there with despair filling his eyes. I scoffed at him and directed my car out of the driveway.

"I'll never forgive him for what he did to me in high school and he should just give up. I stopped loving him. Why can't he stop loving me?" I said.

"People always say that girls are the ones that want attention and girls are the ones who always start the drama but I personally think that the boys are the complicated ones. They always mess with our minds," said Xi Fang. We both crack up at her helpful piece of information.

-At Feng City University-

"I see that you're both late again," said the professor when she saw Xi Fang and I stumble into the room.

"Sorry ma'am it won't happen again," I apologized. I rushed to my desk and took out my books. I sighed as the teacher started talking about Chinese history. I looked out the window next to my desk. I took in the view of the puffy, full white clouds and the trees swaying in the gentle breeze. I blocked out all the other noise in the classroom and focused on the scene. Nature really was beautiful...

"WANG SHU!" I fell out of my chair as I heard someone yell my name.
