CHAPTER 20

Pictures, there were pictures of him and Gan.

From the cafe to them walking to the shopping center. If anyone looked at these without knowing the story they would conclude that Paitoon and Gan were a couple.

"You see? These boys lied to you, they are sweet and charming to you but when you leave they laugh behind your backs, i won't be surprised if they came up with this plan to exploit money from you" Sirikit says walking to the front.

Paitoon couldn't breathe. The feeling of being watched, he knew he wasn't being paranoid and that day....they camera flash was because of Phichit's mother.

"They lied to you so they could use you to have a better future, liars!"

He didn't lie though! He has been honest, Phichit will not believe this right? He held his hand only to be rejected.

Something pained in his chest making it hard to breathe.

"Paitoon!" Gan called out before Paitoon fell to the ground unconscious.

"See? He couldn't handle the truth so he faints, my work here is done" she says before walking to the door.

Everyone was now silent, what the fuck just happened? Was the question they all asked themselves as they looked at the repeating slideshow.

Gan carried an unconscious Paitoon with the help of Sirichai.

Their jaws were on the floor.

"What the fuck was that?" Earth yells standing up.

"We have to go there, now"

Phichit was starring at the screen in front of him. These pictures, were they real?

"Pai-" he froze when he found no sign of Paitoon or his father, even the boy his father had brought.

He walked to the front and saw an ambulance drive off.

A red Ferrari stopped at his feet, the window rolled down, it was Preed and Earth.

"Get in"

Earth sat on Preed's lap as they sped off following the ambulance.

"Why did you push him away? We saw the whole thing!" Earth scolded him.

"I was in shock, i didn't even hear what my mom said, all I was looking at was how Paitoon looked happy when he was with that boy"

They stopped at a red light. Earth was so angry he started to swat his friend on the head.

"He thinks you're mad at him Phichit! He needed to know you didn't believe your mother but you pushed him away, i wouldn't be surprised if he disappears from your life"

The car sped up again and they arrived at the hospital. The same hospital Paitoon had lost his mother at.

"Oh God...what have I done"

"Paitoon dear"

He frowned. That voice. His mother's voice. He opened his eyes and found himself in a field of white roses.

Up ahead, Sunstra was sitting on a bench, the smile on her face made Paitoon smile back.

"Come sit next to me"

He walked towards her, the sun was bright and it was so quiet, so peaceful.

"Mom....are you in pain?"

She gently caressed his head.

"Do I look like I'm in pain to you? I'm fine dear...what about you? What brings you here?"

"I missed you so i came to visit"

She chuckled and nudged him on the shoulder.

"You don't have to tell me everything, i saw it....you shouldn't give up so easily"

"I know but.....i don't want drama"

"All relationships come with drama dear....when i met your father he was already engaged, the man didn't even tell me, but look, we gave birth to you, you are a product of our love for each other"

"What about me? What will I give him as a sign on my love for him?"

She placed her hand on his chest.

"Your heart, give him all your heart....and if he doesn't want it then you'll move on, it will be hard at first but trust me, good things await you"

He smiled.

"Thank you"

"Now go back, your time hasn't come yet"

They hugged and Paitoon gasped for air sitting up on the hospital bed. He looked around and saw Gan and Sirichai outside of his room.

"Was it true? What she said?"

"No, i do admit I had feelings for him but we didn't do anything, you met him at my house because i made his outfit, nothing more"

Sirichai sighed in relief. He held Gan's hand.

"When you want to leave, you can tell me....i know I'm too old for you"

"Will you stop, i like you for who you are, not because of your age, status and all the other lame stuff."

"I know it's just....what she said made me feel like we made a mistake being together"

He sighed and hugged him.

"You know, for an older man you sure sound like a nineteen year old"

"I know, I'm sorry"

"Will you stop apologizing, if you say sorry again I'll punish you"

He chuckled and nodded.

"Yes sir"

Phichit, Preed and Earth come running towards them.

"Where is he?" Phichit asks.

"Inside the room"

He opened the door and found Paitoon standing at the window looking down.

"Can you believe I'm back here again?"

He closed the door.

"Paitoon.....I'm so sorry"

Paitoon turned to look at him, his eyes red from crying.

"Sorry? For what exactly? For not believing me?"

".....yes"

His chest ached again making him stagger backwards. He sniffled.

"Phichit....what did I do to your mother to make her hate me this much" he whispered.

"I don't know but i promise you, I'll make her pay"

"Just like how you promised my mother?"

The question made him freeze.

"W-What?"

"Didn't you promise my mother to make my days brighter? Or did you lie to her so she wouldn't feel guilty for leaving me here?"

"Paitoon...you don't mean that"

He wiped his tears and showed him his phone.

"Your 'fans' want me dead, after what they saw in their TV they believed that she was telling the truth, and when I needed you, what did you do? You push me away"

"Paitoon I-"

"Sorry? You're going to say you're sorry? I think you should leave"

"But-"

"GET OUT!!"

He walked out and his friends gave him hugs of comfort.

"Give him time....he's too hurt"

He looked back at the door, he could see Paitoon leaning against the wall crying.

"I'm sorry"
