Chapter Three: Danger in the palace.

I was wondering what the guard meant by he is not someone of this world and had winded the glass of the car to hear what the captured man was saying.

"I need to see the King, danger is coming. His enemy is coming. There should be no rest until the enemy has been defeated. Let me see the King and tell him myself. The prince, princess and the queen will die if the king doesn't do anything. Everyone will die in this world if he's not careful!" The man was shouting loudly and suddenly, one of the guards had hit the man in the stomach, using the hilt of his sword.

I closed my eyes as I saw the man being beaten up by the guards. My P.G had even sped up the car to prevent me from seeing the sight of the man that was punished.

"Your highness, are you alright?" My personal guard asked.

"Yeah, I'm alright." I said as I opened the door and exited the car. I walked straight to my room but my father, the king had met me on the way.

"Xin, are you alright?" My father asked and I just nodded my head.

"Are you sure you're alright?" He asked again seeing my red face.

"Why is the man at the gate being punished?" I finally asked.

"Why do you think he's being punished." The king asked me.

"I don't know but I think he's innocent." I answered out of my own view.

"Xin, go to your room, you're still young to understand things like that."

I looked at my father before storming off to my room. On my way, I had met my mother and had even saw my twin sister but I ignored both of them and went to my room.

"That guy, I think he came from the other world. If only I'm able to talk to him, I would be able to ask if there truly is another world. That guy is the answer to my unanswered questions." I thought to myself. But then, the door of my room was opened, the queen and the princess came inside.

"Xin, are you okay?" Xinny who was my twin sister asked.

"Yeah, I'm alright. Thanks." I managed to speak. I hate when people worry a lot about me even when I'm doing fine.

My mother sat on one of the chairs of my room and the princess had also done the same.

"Xin, come and sit beside me, I have a story I should tell you. I may not be able to tell you this again, so you should listen attentively to me now." The queen said and I couldn't help but sit beside her.

"Do you know why that watch is here?" The queen asked as she pointed at the watch kept in a cylindrical glass and some kind of magical barrier was placed on it. I myself had wondered why such a beautiful item was placed in a glass with no body wearing it, but everytime I ask my father, the king, he would just say that it belongs to the strong me, not the present weak me.

"This watch is called the Omnitrix and it was created by your father to stop an oncoming war that would occur in the future. Also, this watch was created and meant for you, Xin. It would make you stronger and give you access to everything you wish to do." The queen explained.

"But dad always say that it belongs to the strong me. What does it mean mother?" I asked the queen.

"Yes Xin. For you to be able to control the power of the Omnitrix, you must be strong. Let me show you some of the powers that this watch have." The queen said as she placed her two hands on my head and visions of what the Omnitrix could do was displayed to me. I saw that the watch was able to turn an object into stones. I saw that it could control water, fire and earth. A flowing river had even stopped flowing, due to how strong the Omnitrix was.

"Wow, this is amazing." I said but suddenly, I felt a burning sensation on my right chest.

"What is it Xin?" My mother asked, noticing the sudden change in me and the frown I had on my face.

I opened the button of my cloth and upon seeing my chest, my mother jumped up in fear.

"They have breached the border." My mother said.

"What do you mean mother?" I and my sister had said at once.

"Your father's cousin, Muka had killed his other self and the time master do not approve this." My mother said but we were so confused at what she was saying.

Suddenly, we started hearing gunshots from our Left and Right. And it doesn't seem like it would stop. My mother touched my right chest and the burning sensation cooled down. But a clock diagram was revealed on my chest.

"How are you able to do that?" I asked my mother. She was able to show me things telepathically and now, she just healed me.

"You have the mark." My mother said, ignoring the question I asked her.

Immediately, she told us to hide under the bed while she stood guard.

"Xin, if anything happens, protect your sister and do not let them see you." My mother said and then, someone had entered our room.

"You! What are you doing in my room." My mother shouted at the person who had came inside.

"Your majesty. As you already know, his grace is here to get rid of those with the time mark. And he's here to get rid of the King." The stranger said.

"No! You cannot kill him. You cannot kill my husband. Never!" The queen shouted.

"You are too late your majesty. His Royal Highness is on his way to heaven, probably waving his hands to you." The stranger said. "His grace has asked me to bring you so he could kill you by himself. You were the reason why he wasn't able to become king in the first place."

As Xin and Xinny were listening to their conversation, their hearts were beating loudly and the duo had hold hands, trying to calm each other down.

That was when they noticed that the stranger was dragging the queen outside the room.

"Xin, don't go anywhere."
