1 The Thing Which She Should Never Have Seen

It was a rainy day, there were thunders and lightning. The sudden sound of the thunder made Xu Zhuya jump up in fear. Xu Zhuya had been working as a Pediatrician since 3 years at the First Imperial Hospital . She had worked over here as a medical intern previously and took a job to settle herself.

The Xu family were not that rich nor that poor because Xu Zhuya's father Xu Gang was the CEO of the Xu company. The company was into Welding Business. Although they didn't get much collaborations or offers they were able to sum up their money so that the company was not considered bankrupt. And their business was going on giving them all the happiness a person can have.

Her mother Xiao Mei who married her father at an age of 16 gave birth to her first child Xuan Yu and then 4 years later Xu Zhuya was born. Since her parents preferred sons over daughters, they forced Xu Zhuya to do all the work and gave her brother the utmost freedom. Her brother Xuan Yu had no interest in studies and became a carefree person who would spend all his father's money on girls and his interests. Thus all the responsibilities were now on Xu Zhuya.

It was time for Xu Zhuya to go home. Her night shift had got over. She bid her best friend Yan Rong and all the other doctors goodbye. It was raining badly. She decided to wait but then she knew her husband would be waiting for her to return and thus she hurriedly went out of the building to the car park.

She opened the door of her Mercedes Benz and sat inside. She started the engine and kept the car at a warm temperature. She started driving. She wanted to reach early but then the roads were wet so she decided to go slow.

The car had stopped due to red light and she saw to her right a company building. It was Li Enterprise. The topmost leading company in Country X and also her husband's Li Wei's company. Just as she was thinking a familiar silhouette came into her view. After seeing it, she felt like her heart had stopped beating and before she could realize tears started flowing from her eyes.

She wished that she should have never seen it in her life. It was none other than her husband Li Wei. He was kissing a woman intimately and they didn't even bother about the surroundings and were in their own world. After witnessing it Xu Zhuya got lost and was then broken from her train of thoughts by the continuous honking of the cars and one by one the cars moved.

Xu Zhuya just kept on crying. She thought to herself that it was just a dream, a small simple dream. And kept on hoping that her husband would be there before her.

At last she reached her home. She parked the car in the parking lot and started taking her steps slowly, afraid of witnessing the truth. She tried her best to compose her calm and straight structure but no, she couldn't. Her heart had shattered and was broken. She was shivering and afraid. Yet, she wanted to witness the truth by her own eyes. She kept her pace slow and reached the house.

It was a 2 storey house and it had all the facilities that one needed in it's life. She took her keys and opened the door. The main door was made of light wood and had a light brown color filled with designs at the corners. She touched the door and went in.

She searched him everywhere but she couldn't find him. And lastly she went to the master bedroom to check. She kept her pace slow hoping that he would be there inside. She didn't wanted to see an empty room like the other rooms around. She slowly lifted her hand and kept it on the door knob.

With every passing second, her heart beat was growing louder and louder. Soon, she twisted the knob and opened the door. As she witnessed no one inside, the tears which were held inside her, all came rushing like a river and she squatted near the bed while bringing her legs close to her chest and crying wholeheartedly.

The tears were not going to stop. The thunder and lightning made her freak out but the thing which freaked her more was her husband. She never had thought about this, that one day she will see something like this and the memories of her wedding day rushed in her mind.
