45 The Pain

When Li Wei's parents arranged a marriage for him, he first wanted to decline. But, his parents forced him to atleast see the photo of the girl. When he saw the girl, he smiled and instantly agreed. He was very happy to have found his soulmate.

He thought about his previous marriage for a while but he hadn't loved that lady so he thought that before she gets to know about it, he will divorce her.

But seems like God had only helped him a little, the rest had to be done by him. When things started to take a turn; not went according to his plan he had an urge to kill himself. He really had loved Xu Zhuya but why was she asking for a divorce... Why can't she just stay with him?

Wu Yanchen on the other hand, ever since he had that photo, he kept it in his wallet all hidden from his family. All those proposals or relations he got, he rejected them all, hoping that one day he will find the girl from this photo.

And that's what happened. His patience bear him a sweet fruit. When he saw her at the airport with the driver loading her luggage in the trunk, he couldn't help but admire her from a long distance.

Even though the airport was always crowded, after seeing her, Wu Yanchen forgot about everything and he could see no one except her. With every step, his heart beat a thousand times.

And once he approached her, the irritated look on her face gave him a good feeling that they will be together somehow. In the car when he saw a couple kissing, he could feel that his body was heating up just by looking at her.

The way she was observing that couple made him feel that he should kiss her. So, without any haste he did go near her but only whispered and then went back. Because the angel in his mind told him about the consequences of kissing a woman who doesn't knows him.

His heart ached when she ran from the car to meet someone. That's when something caught his eye and he took that phone and kept it with him always.

He didn't wanted to know about her personal stuff, he was waiting for her to say it. But a few messages and calls had come which forced him to open her phone and see through her personal stuff.

God had helped him too but he was shocked after knowing that she was divorced. But his love for her was strong so he could not let her go... not anymore; not when she was right in front of him.

Wu Yanchen kept his forehead touched with her until there was a knock on the door. He let go of her and looked towards the door.

After the receptionist had told Li Wei the room number, he took long steps and reached the room. He was about to open, when he saw Wu Yanchen and Xu Zhuya had their foreheads touched, through the transparent glass of the door.

A familiar pain came into his heart and he patted his hand on the left side of his chest to subside the pain. He then knocked on the door and went in.

He knew that Xu Zhuya wouldn't be happy on seeing him and it was true. She was not at all happy on seeing him. She had a worried face and her eyes showed pain, sadness, tension. He came and stood beside the bed.

Since, it was a VIP room all sorts of exquisite stuffs were kept. Even the bed was large and the room was very spacious. But all that it had was white surroundings.

Before Li Wei could speak Xu Zhuya spoke angrily "Don't come near me..." Before she could finish her sentence, she started sobbing. She cried out loud and laid her head on Wu Yanchen's shoulders.

Wu Yanchen rubbed her back and whispered softly "Shhhh.... shh.. It's alright. He won't harm you...Don't worry, I'll protect you." He kissed on her forehead and caressed her hair gently.

His warm and soft hands, long slender fingers had the ability to ease anyone and that's what happened. Xu Zhuya stopped crying and looked at Wu Yanchen with red eyes.

Li Wei wanted to tear that Wu Yanchen. He wanted to do so many things with that man but on seeing Xu Zhuya's calm smile he couldn't do it. Rage was filled in his body, afraid that he would do something, he apologized "Take care of yourself. I'm sorry..." and immediately left the room.

Through her peripheral vision she was able to see Li Wei's hand approaching her and then it stopped in mid-air and then went back into his pocket. She wasn't able to see his face clearly, but she felt some sort of pain in one corner of her heart.

She didn't know what it was because it was just a mild one.
