52 Kidnapped

Wu Yanchen got ready for work and Xu Zhuya prepared breakfast for him. After having his breakfast, he bid her goodbye and left. Xu Zhuya then cleaned the table and went upstairs to her room.

She looked at the two baby boys sleeping peacefully in their cradles. She smiled at them and this smile was the best smile of her life. She hadn't smiled like this for so long. She kissed their foreheads and went to take a shower.

After a while, she came out of the room dressed in a towel. She looked at the cradles and was shocked to see one cradle empty. She started to panic and ran here and there in search of the baby boy. It was Wu Yanchen's son Wu Lang.

She considered to be a prank, so she endlessly kept on calling " Wu Yanchen! C'mon, this things are not for joke. Where is the baby? I'm scared. Please, Wu Yanchen don't scare me like this. Wu Yanchen! Wu Yanchen!"

She first checked the small rooms which were especially designed and decorated for the two boys. When she saw the rooms to be empty, she went to the guest room. The guest room was brightly decorated with carpets laid on the floor. The room was enlightened but, there was not even a single sight of the baby. She then went to the living room, no traces of the baby boy. She was about to go to the drawing room when her phone rang.

She looked at the Caller ID and it was Wu Yanchen. She gave a sigh of relief, thinking that he was pranking with her. She quickly picked up the call and without greeting she spoke in a worried tone "Gosh! I was just so scared. How can you prank like this, huh?" She gave a deep sigh and waited for him to speak.

Wu Yanchen had called her to notify that he had reached the hospital. But he got confused when she asked him about some sort of prank. He was puzzled for a while. He looked at the Caller ID to make sure whether he was calling Xu Zhuya or no. Assured that it was Xu Zhuya only, he asked worriedly "Are you okay, honey? What prank are you talking about?"

That six words sentence kept on roaming in her mind. Suddenly, the panic started to swell up in her. She again got worried and asked him again "C'mon, I'm talking about Wu Lang. You took him with you, right?"

Wu Yanchen looked at his phone once more and shook his head. Realizing, that she won't be seeing him, he spoke casually with a hint of surprise "No! Why will I take him with me? I left early and they were sleeping, so how can I take them? And between, If I bring them here I need to bring you also with me.. Now tell me, what's the matter? Is everything okay?"

Hearing him, Xu Zhuya broke out in tears. She cried loudly and said "Wu Lang is missing... I searched for him everywhere, but I couldn't find him...."

Don't know what had happened but Wu Yanchen heard a loud thud coming from the other side. He stood up from his chair and worriedly spoke "Xu Zhuya! Xu Zhuya! Are you okay? Speak to me.... Speak to me... You there?" With that he got out of his room, and rushed towards his car.

He drove away from the hospital towards his home. He immediately got out of the car and ran inside the house. He opened the door with the key and ran inside. He kept on calling for Xu Zhuya, but he didn't get any reply back. Finally, he found her lying on the floor, her phone still in her hand.

Seeing her like this and not finding one of his kids, he was in a daze for a while. He just stood there rooted. He then shook his head to remove all the thoughts which were coming in his mind and ran towards Xu Zhuya.

He yelled "Xu Zhuya! Xu Zhuya! Wake Up! Please wake up..." He shook her body for some time. He kept on screaming telling her to wake up. He then checked her pulse - It was working.

He grabbed the glass of water kept on the dining table and sprinkled some of the water on her face and he noticed her move.

He threw a little more water droplets on her face and simultaneously she woke up. Xu Zhuya blinked her eyes and sat up. She looked at Wu Yanchen and hugged him.

She cried and cried not letting him go. Wu Yanchen moved his hand up and down to calm her down. He was really dazed so, he himself didn't know how to calm her down.

She then let go of him and looked straight into his eyes. Her eyes were still teary and droplets were still falling down her cheeks. Her nose became red and her eyes became puffy. She looked fragile and almost ready to collapse.

She spoke in a rough voice "What is this, Wu Yanchen? Where is our son? I want to see him... I want to see him, Wu Yanchen... I really want to see him... Why can't I not have a happy life, Wu Yanchen? Why? Why?" She started hitting him on his chest.

Wu Yanchen caught hold of her hands and hugged her. He kissed her hair and spoke "Shhh!!! It's okay.. I'll find it out. He will be fine sweetheart. Shhh! Be quiet. You know this right we all need you. Me, Wu Muqing, we both need you. And after we find Wu Lang; we all need you. So just stay calm and we will find him."

Xu Zhuya hugged him back and spoke "I'm really worried...." Before she could say more Wu Yanchen spoke "Shhh! I'll find him. After all he is our son. I'll find him no matter what."

Then a phone rang, it was Wu Yanchen's. Both of their heartbeats started to increase and Wu Yanchen hurriedly took out his phone from his pocket and looked at the Caller ID. It was his mom.

Seeing that it was his mom calling, he felt a little relieved but then he again began to worry because if his son was kidnapped, the kidnapper would surely call them for taking the money. But as of now, nothing had happened. No unknown phone calls, no texts nothing... His phone was completely blank only a few missed calls from Xu Zhuya and his mom.
