33 I'll Wait For Your Reply

Xu Zhuya asked the receptionist for Wu Yanchen's room number but unfortunately the receptionist didn't give her the number. She pleaded the receptionist but it was futile to do so. She asked for her room keys and the receptionist handed them.

Xu Zhuya took those keys and started walking towards her room. Her room was 1014 placed on the 6th floor.

She pressed the button of the elevator and after waiting for a while the doors of the elevator opened showing the faces of three look alike people. One person looked very familiar to Xu Zhuya.

She pointed a finger at him and politely bowed "Hello Mr. Wu Yanchen. It's me, Xu Zhuya. You and I we both came in the same car right now. You remember?" She paused for a while waiting for his answer. Wu Yanchen nodded and the other two persons beside him looked in utter shock and disbelief.

One person was a lady in her mid fifties and beside her stood a man who was just as tall and handsome as Wu Yanchen.

Xu Zhuya stepped inside the elevator and pressed for the 6th Floor. She turned towards Wu Yanchen and said "I'm sorry, but have you seen my phone? As far as I remember I might have left it in the car. I checked the car but, I couldn't find it. So I wanted to know whether you saw it or not?" She gave a small smile and waited for him to reply.

Wu Yanchen gave a small unnoticeable smirk and said "No, I haven't seen it."

"Oh! okay. Thank you. Mr. Wu Yanchen." Xu Zhuya replied with a dejected look on her face. She then faced him and bowed down her head... Then, her eyes fell on the two people behind Wu Yanchen. They were looking at Wu Yanchen as if they saw some ghost or something. Their eyes became so big that they were gonna pop out anytime.

Xu Zhuya looked at them questioningly and then shrugged her shoulders and looked front, waiting for the lift to reach her floor. Wu Yanchen looked at them and gave a questioning look. Both of them quickly turned their heads and started looking at the front.

The lady in the elevator calmed herself and went a little further and stood beside Xu Zhuya. She looked at her and Xu Zhuya looked at her back.

The woman said while stretching out her hands towards Xu Zhuya. "Hello, I'm Wu Yanchen's mother, Xiao Tan."

Xu Zhuya looked at the woman apologetically and quickly held her hand. She shook hands with her and bowed down apologetically. "I'm really sorry. I didn't know, Miss Xiao. I am Xu Zhuya!" She introduced herself.

"Yes. I just heard you speaking to my son." Xiao Tan paused and then looked at Wu Yanchen. She was shocked to see her son's never seen expression.

Wu Yanchen was controlling his smile. His cheeks had almost gone red and he was trying to hide his blushing face.

Xiao Tan really wanted to know more about this young woman infront of her. She was able to see her son's never seen expression only because of this young woman. As she was about to ask something more, a stern voice cut her off

"So Miss Xu Zhuya, You came over here for vacation?" It was Wu Yanchen who spoke.

Xiao Tan looked at her son. It was really hard for her to believe because just a few seconds before, he was blushing and now he had his poker face back. Xu Zhuya turned to face him and said "No. Not for vacation. I came here to settle. I am gonna live over here from now on."

"Oh! So what's your profession?" Wu Yanchen asked.

"Well, I'm a Pediatrician. I..." As Xu Zhuya was saying more, she was cut off by Wu Yanchen

"Pediatrician?" Wu Yanchen asked again to make sure.

And Xu Zhuya gave a nod "Yes."

"That's a really good thing, Miss Xu Zhuya. We are in need of Pediatricians at our hospital..."

"Your hospital?"

"Yes! My mother, Xiao Tan is the Director of One Life Hospital and my brother, Wu Fan and I, we both work there as Doctors. Our hospital is currently hiring new staff."

As both Wu Yanchen and Xu Zhuya were having a talk, Xiao Tan and her other son, Wu Yanchen's brother, Wu Fan were shook by him. Xiao Tan's son or Wu Fan's brother, who always had a poker face and never interacted with women was suddenly interacting with one and that too, he was flushing deep red.

They never would be able to believe this scene unless someone was going to pinch them and make them realize that it was true reality.

As they heard the sound of the elevator door opening, the two realized that what they were seeing was indeed true because Wu Yanchen was actually talking with a woman.

Wow! He was actually telling her to join in their hospital...

All four walked out of the elevator. Seeing Wu Yanchen walking side by side with Xu Zhuya made Xiao Tan realize that her son was in love. Even Wu Fan felt the same way.

When Wu Yanchen halted near one of the rooms on 6th floor, Xu Zhuya looked at the number of his room. '1013? He is just beside me.' Xu Zhuya thought in her mind.

As Wu Yanchen opened his door, he turned around and looked at Xu Zhuya "Miss Xu Zhuya, I will really appreciate it if you would come and work at our hospital. It would really be great working together with you." He bowed his head and continued "If you want to enquire more about this, just come to my room... room 1013 and we can discuss."

Xu Zhuya slightly nodded and bowed to him and his family. She walked to her room when a voice came behind her "You are staying in room 1014?" It was Wu Yanchen who asked.

As he was walking inside along with his mother and brother, Wu Yanchen saw Xu Zhuya walking to a room beside his. He couldn't believe that she was staying just beside him. So, he asked.

"Yes." Xu Zhuya nodded.

"Ohh! Great. See you then." Wu Yanchen said with a gentle smile and walked inside his room.

*Thump**Thump*

'What is this?' Xu Zhuya asked herself as she felt her heart beating. Surely, Wu Yanchen was handsome but... she didn't know that her broken heart would also beat just by seeing his gentle smile....

She shook her head and washed her thoughts away.
