2 Her Past

It was Summer. A bright sunny day filled with chirruping and chattering of birds and people all around the place. The wedding wasn't that grand but it consisted of all important people both from the groom's and the bride's side. The wedding hall was decorated with Roses at the corners and consisted of Jasmine in the middle and a few Lilies as well.

There were chairs for all the guests to be seated and the food was in a buffet system and had all delicious and tastiest dishes made by special chefs. There were caterers who were serving glasses of juice, wine and water. Everything was just perfect.

It was an arranged marriage. Xu Zhuya's parents had forced her to marry the CEO for expanding their business, nevertheless Xu Zhuya didn't know why she agreed to marry and just thought that her life is supposed to be like this so she moved on.

Xu Zhuya had a pretty oval face with big dark brown eyes, thin lips and a straight nose. She was of 5'4 and had a slim and tiny waist. Her features were exceptional and she was considered the most beautiful when compared to others. Xu Zhuya wasn't boastful about herself or her fair complexion.. She was very gentle and kind.

Today on her wedding day, she stood in front of the mirror and adored herself. She was looking very beautiful, dressed in a white off shoulder gown that went all the way down to the floor which covered her plain white sandals. Her makeup was lightly done and her lips were pink in color. Her hair was tied in a bun pinned with flowers and a few strands were left on the side of her face. She looked gorgeous.

Her friend Yan Rong entered the room and gasped. "Oh My!!" She chuckled and praised her "You look very beautiful babe. I wish I was a boy I would have proposed you for the marriage." She joked and walked towards her.

Xu Zhuya heard her and said "And I would have accepted it without any hesitation." They both patted each other's shoulders lightly and laughed at this. Then Yan Rong spoke again "Ahhh, I can't take this babe. You know what? Right now, when I was coming I got a glimpse of the groom and.... Oh My God! He is so so handsome and hot. Even my boyfriend looks less than him." She fanned herself indicating that she was feeling really hot just by thinking about him.

"Tsk...Tsk! You should be loyal to your boyfriend, Dumbhead!" Xu Zhuya responded with a smile and flicked Yan Rong's forehead. She then looked at her herself in the mirror and instantly her smile vanished.

Yan Rong rubbed her forehead and looked at her friend through the mirror. She hugged Xu Zhuya from behind and asked "What's wrong? You are not happy with this marriage, huh?"

Xu Zhuya remained silent and just looked at herself in the mirror. Yan Rong patted her forehead and comforted her with sweet nothings.

Xu Zhuya looked back at Yan Rong through the mirror and spoke to her with a small smile "You know I never wanted to marry at first but then my parents forced me to get married. I don't know why they fixed my marriage with a business employ. They could have made me married to a doctor But from all this, I can think that they want to have a contract with this business employ so that they can keep their company safe." She took a breath and continued "I don't think so that a doctor will be happy marrying a business employ... Or vice versa. Still, I guess, I thought over the fact that my parents would be happy and agreed to the alliance. Even if I didn't agree, they would have still gotten me married to him."

"If it is like that, why do you always listen to them, Xu Zhuya? You should do as you wish... Why are you coping along with them? Just say No and finish it off, right?" Yan Rong was a little confused with Xu Zhuya's words. It seemed that Xu Zhuya was not liking but still she was going along with it. If Xu Zhuya was not liking this alliance, then she could have just said No to it...

"I want my parents to be happy, YanYan. My Dad has given his all to make our company where it stands now... and if he needs my help... I am willing to help him. I guess, I can't go against my parents. They will help me whenever I need them too!" Xu Zhuya gave a smile.

Yan Rong took a deep sigh. She didn't know what to say. She knew that Xu Zhuya always was innocent and this time also she was innocent. Yan Rong just prayed within her heart that everything should go well with Xu Zhuya's future life and that she gets to live happily.

Soon after, Xu Zhuya walked the aisle holding her father's hand. She had a sweet smile on her face. As she reached the aisle she took little glances of the groom but because of her veil she couldn't see it clearly. She had a bouquet of white roses in her hand. The crowd cheered when they saw the bride approaching the groom. The moment felt beautiful.

As for the groom, the groom, Li Wei had a different sort of uneasiness in his heart. His heart was beating very frantically as he saw the bride approaching him. He looked at her with a feeling of happiness. He couldn't hide his smile when he saw the bride approaching him. He immediately lowered his head to hide his flushed face.

Li Wei wore a white suit with a black tie and his pants were completely tight showing the figure of his long, skinny legs. He was a tall guy with a height of 6'1 and looked all glamourous with his blueish hair pulled back. It was a sight to see. He had a fair complexion. He wore black formal shoes. And his attire looked complete with an expensive watch in his right hand.

As the bride came near, he held her hand to help her stand beside him. He shyly took glances of her while keeping her hand in his hold.
