10 Question

"Excuse me," Rash cleared his throat, trying to understand the nurse strange behavior who for God knows what reason was behaving rudely towards him, "Excuse me, but do you have a problem with me?"

The nurse paused for several seconds as if she was thinking about what she said, "No" came out the short response. That wasn't helpful, he thought to himself before asking another question, "Then, I wake up a little while and I feel a little tired and hope you help me remove those instruments and provide me with some food. Can you?"

"No."

"Why?" Rash continued to ask, for the woman to look at him with a cold stare.

"I am not subjected to respond to every one of your demands, plus why do you think I have the right to do anything without getting permission from the doctor?" answered the nurse, still the same manner in speaking. And changing her directions to the instruments beside the bed inspecting it.

"So why you came here?" If she did not come to help, but only to release her anger towards him, then it is better not to come and to save her energy in something better. Rash knows that he is not in a position to get angry with the nurse because he does not grasp the full current situation in this hospital. However, Nightmare did not tell him about the situation yet, so he supposed that the cause of the woman's anger was a something not related to him.

"After you've sent so many alerts, now asking me why I'd come? Are you an idiot?" She didn't even mind the rudeness in her response. Addressing a fifteen-year-old boy who has just woken up from a coma and may be in a state of delirium with such sharp tones that may cause him to suffer more severe trauma. This made Rash rethink the situation more. Currently, the arrival of the nurse did not bring him any help, and it is better to make his move himself as he always used to.

"Uh... maybe... after all, I just woke up and am still confused, so you can leave because I'm tired and want to sleep again."

The woman gave him several close looks, then checked the devices again to make sure that his condition was stable, despite her bad character she was not so stupid to leave without checking first. While Rash remained calm, returning to his sleeping position, turning his face to the other side where he could see the sky outside from the window, then he closed his eyes while pretending to be asleep.

"Just stay like this until the doctor comes to check on your condition, do not cause any troubles, otherwise you alone bear the consequences." The nurse did not stay long after, and she left the room with a quiet click on the door as if she was acting normally. Something made Rash think that she didn't want to come here willingly, but she had no choice because this is her job in the end.

Rash waited for several minutes to make sure that Mariana the nurse had indeed left, he slowly set up and examined the door, as the room had returned to complete calm. He removed the cover that was wrapped around his lower body and moved his legs down the bed and placed them on the ground slowly. Many bandages covered most of his body, which made him wonder about the extent of the damage he had suffered during the battle, but this is not important now.

At present there are some wires and tubes connected to his arm and chest, some of them in the lower part of his body that were hampering him a little bit, he did not know its use and what it was doing, but he was sure that it was put to help him in some way. With his right hand, he grabbed the tube connected to his left arm and pulled it with a little force, then moved to the wires and the rest of the other things. He was only wearing a thin patient shirt, so doing so did not hinder him much.

After all that was done, he stood patiently as he put his hands to help him stand, because of the skill of recovery, he was not in any pain, but he did not move for a long time, which made him a little numb in the muscles. After he balanced himself well, he quickly scanned his body again to see if there was anything abnormal, "Everything looks great," he murmured in a low voice.

He is now thinking of leaving the room, but will he just leave like that? Of course not, his clothes are inappropriate to go out, so he searched the room for his old clothes. He headed towards the cabinet that was attached to the wall in front of the bed about a meter to the door, he noticed it before when he was doing the quest. The cabinet door shape was not different in any way from the wall, all white. Thus, Rash hadn't noticed it before, but now it is clear when approaching it, the door had no lock or handle so Rash pressed a little on it, causing the door to open as if the wall had slid forward a little, then he completed the process by bending it to the side.

He was surprised by what he found inside the wall cabinet because his clothes were not there, and it is assumed that this closet is for patients and their needs, so where could his clothes have been placed. Despite this, there were other clothes placed there, and they all looked completely new, as the clothes were still wrapped and untouched. "What is this?" There, he saw his ID card placed on top of the clothes, causing him to wonder why.

If he had a family then maybe someone brought him this outfit, but he doesn't know or have anyone like that.

"These clothes were intended for you, they were brought by the lady you protected her and her baby when the monster attacked them." Nightmare answered his inquiry.

"This ...." Rash remembered what happen, "Don't tell me they think my attacking the monster was to protect them?" But he found it ridiculous, in his life there were some times when he tried to behave well and help others so that he could make friends, but most of those times the other party thought that he had a hidden motive behind that, but now the opposite is exactly what happened.

"Even if this was not what you intended, your intervention at that time enabled the lady and her son to escape safely. Perhaps no one knows about your true intention. However, normal people will not think about the cause anyway and all that matters to them is that your behavior contributed to saving everyone."

"Because they are just naive, I don't think there is someone who will do that knowing they will not survive after the battle. I might understand it if this is for someone dear or you have an interest with them, but in my case I do not even know that lady and even the heroes who do this work are not doing it for free anyway." Rash does not know much about heroes, but he knows that most of them, or at least the elite, own a great deal of wealth granted to them by the world government or the organizations to which they belong, or even from the wealthy they defend.

He is not against that they are getting wages for their work, but will these heroes behave in the same way if they do not get those rewards and prizes? He doesn't think that's really what will happen in that case.

Nightmare knows very well what Rash is thinking and why, "Your thinking misses a lot of facets and you're looking at it from one angle." Nightmare responded.

"Really... why do you think so?"

"Well let's see, you might be right in one case, which is that these heroes do their job for money or other things, but is that all? You have to consider again if you think so, because people of their level of power have many other ways to save money and get fame. Nevertheless, you find that many of them risk themselves in confrontations that may cost them their lives at any moment and may lose everything they reached for that, do you think this is just out of money and fame?''

Rash's tongue stuttered and found nothing to say to Nightmare, because he knew it was right in every word to some extent. Of course the people at the bottom like him may see the truth from their place in some cases, but they cannot accept it easily and prefer to delude themselves that it is the reality and that they are right in their expectations so that they feel better. However, this is just an escape from the truth and Nightmare knows what Rash is suffering.

"You do not need to say anything now, just let me ask you another question. Have you ever thought that you are right in this negative way of thinking and that because you have gone through many crises in your life, it is okay to throw everything behind your back and even try to commit suicide as a result of it?"

"Of course not." He hesitated a little because at some point he had already thought like this, and Nightmare is connected to him. Lying to him is not useful anyway, "Well for a while... or maybe more, I don't know but do you think that I am the only one who will do such a thing? Maybe everyone will do the same thing just like me."

"Rash, you are not anyone. You are the only person among many who has been able to coordinate with me. the System Nightmare. This alone indicates you are a very special one." Nightmare wanted to give him a boost in confidence, even though he knows that changing everything may take some time.
