10 Chapter 10

'Sudden Attack'

I was on my way to bus stop after classes ended with Roy. Aryan left early as he have some urgent work that's what he said. Aakriti went to Library to search for some books. Hence, I ended up with Roy. We were standing there for bus and chattering about this and that things. At this point I started to think that whatever happened in my high school is like a nightmare and now I am living in a reality and Roy is present in this reality world. I'm really happy to get a good friend like him.

A blind lady was standing beside us to cross the road. She had a fluffy dog with her as her road guide. As the traffic light was green, we were waiting for the road crossing signal. Suddenly the dog run in the middle of the road, the lady started to call for her pet and move onward towards the busy road. In the blink of an eye, that lovely dog was under a car. The world stopped for a movement. As the lady was blind, she was unable to understand that what happened in a few minutes she just hears a sound of that horrible scene and was searching for her pet. I somehow stopped her, and move fast towards the dog, Roy was there with that lady to calm down her. I understand the situation and put a call to my dad. My dad answered the call "Did your class ended my child?" I replied like an bullet train "Dad, there is a dog... in the middle of the road...I think it's deeply hurt. What to do?" My dad said "First of all, you cover the part which is bleeding and bring him to the clinic as soon as possible." I said to the lady that we will take a taxi and go to the pet clinic. We move fast and went to the clinic dad was there waiting in the front of the door. Dad took the dog and went inside.

When dad went inside, the three of us were waiting outside in the waiting hall. The lady was very sad, it was written in her face, it is obvious. Roy was standing outside, I went to him. He said "How is the dog?" I said "It will be okey, I can be sure that it will recover in 2 weeks almost." He was seeing me with the eyes of suspect and ask me "how can you be too sure? You are not a doctor." I came closer to him and grabbed his face, move his face in the direction of the clinic board and told him to read it aloud. He has chubby cheeks that was looking too funny.

He said "Artemis Clinic.....Dr.Siddharth Guha....." After he finish it reading, I asked him "So what is the name of the doctor here?" he said while looking at me like a cute little puppy "Dr. Siddharth Guha." I said like a teacher "Yes, then what you understand from this." He said in the same position "is this doctor your family member or what?" I removed my hand and said "Yeah! That's the point. This is my dad's clinic." He said "Oh! I wasn't aware of this....." "Oh! I didn't tell you about this. It's all right. So, I was telling that as my dad is a doctor, I also learn some treatment methods from him. That time when dogs back leg was injured, I used my mind that time." I said while pointing my forehead.

I took him inside the clinic and my dad came out of the room where the dog was kept. He came near the lady and said "He is okey. You should not tension about anything. He will recover in 2 weeks." Roy looked at me in shock, I who said the correct was showing off. After that lady's family member came, she leaves with her dog. Dad company her till the gate and came "I am proud of you, my daughter." Roy was standing silently, I introduce Roy with my dad.

The next day was Sunday, so all us of friends i.e., Shivangi, Swastik, Aakriti, Raghav, Aryan, Roy and me had made a plan to visit Victoria Memorial. We decided to meet in the 'Jam House' at 16:00.

I left home in 16:00, as it was 10 minutes from my house. I saw that no one has come yet. I wait inside and sit there and ordered a juice, I get a call from Roy. I answered it "Hey! Where are you all? I am waiting here in the Jam House." He said "Actually I am unfamiliar with the Roads. I think I am lost right now." I was listening to him very carefully and guide him the way. ".....You are almost there. Oh! I can see you. look at this way. Did you saw me?" I wave my hand while talking to him. Roy: "hmm. I can see you just wait for a second, I am coming there." He hangs up the call and was crossing the Road at that movement I feel like someone was beside me. I turn back and within a minute I lose my sense.

'Things Tanisha Is Not Aware'

At 'Kolkata Designing and Art College'- Shivangi, Swastik and Raghav were in their class. They were busy in choosing the piece of cloth. The teacher said "Student continue your work. I have to answer this important call. I am coming right back and be careful with your hands." And went out of the class to attend the call. While their teacher was out of the room. Raghav was looking confused so he came near Shivangi's desk and started peeping in her designs. Shivangi who was consumed in her work didn't notice Raghav, she turns and saw that Raghav was standing behind her like a statue. He was caught red handed. Shivangi said "What are you doing in my desk? I think your desk is right there. Uh!" Swastik was watching their drama from a distance. Raghav said "I was just curious about your design, sweetheart." Raghav was teasing Shivangi. Shivangi gets very angry, she keeps running after Raghav to hit him hard so that he would never repeat this act again. Raghav tried to hide behind Swastik, Shivangi suggested to Swastik to move from the front but as Raghav was holding him tight he was unable to move aside. Both Shivangi and Raghav are fighting back and forth in front of the Swastik. Swastik was unable to stop those childish idiots so he stands at one place without moving and wait for them to stop fighting, other people in the class have no words to speak up as this is routine activity for those two.
