Chapter 04

Somewhere in the forest, two people facing each other apparently ready to fight. Both of them have the same hair color but one is a boy and the other is a girl. That is naturally yoshi and yuri. It has been a few months since they discussed about entering school and the next day yoshi suggested about fighting each other to help them prepare for what ever they will meet at school. Yuri was quick to refuse fighting against yoshi but he somehow convince her to try it first. But the first day of their sparring match was something that yuri will never forget, she was beaten because she was holding back and at the end of the match yoshi made it clear that she will learn how to fight or will become his punching bag. Since that day she goes all out to get her revenge on him and today is the same.

Yoshi is topless with only a cropped pant. He is standing on his toes with his left side a bit infront. His left hand is at the level of his waist while his right hand is beside his right ear with both hands curl into fists and slightly bent knees with a serious face. Yuri on the other side is wearing a tank top with sweatpants. She is standing on her feets with her left side forward but with both fists beside her waist and she standing straight with a serious face just like yoshi.

As if on cue they launch at each other. Yuri was the first to attack with a kick using her left she aim at Yoshi's side but yoshi blocks the kick with his right hand and throw a punch at her face, she wanted to dodge but decide against it and block with both arms crossed infront of her but to prove her wrong yoshi throw another punch at her stomach faster than the first one . She tried to block with her leg but it was too late,the blow connected and forced her to bend down a bit but yoshi punch her in the face and then her side which was followed by an upper cut.

Yuri staggered backward but was quick to regain herself. Yoshi shot again at her throwing punches pushing her back, but this time instead of blocking she either dodge or deviate the attacks blocking only when necessary. They went at it for a moment and yoshi manage to get a chance and he immediately went for yuri 's stomach with a punch but this time she quickly rise her left leg infront of her while her other leg is slightly bend. The moment Yoshi's punch landed on her knee, she threw a kick at his head faster than any move she ever used with her right leg and upon impact with his head yoshi was sent rolling on the ground.

'f*ck, that one really hurt 'was Yoshi's though

But before he even decide on his next approach his instincts flare up and he quickly jump back and five lances made of mana pierce the ground where he was.

'is she trying to kill me or what?'and just like before he rised his left hand just on instincts. Yuri appeared right after and threw a whirlwind kick at him.

BAM

When the blow connected a surprise look appeared on yuri 's face and she noticed that Yoshi's hands and fist were covered with mana. She quickly jump back a few meters away from her brother. She also has better control on mana but she was unable to use it on her body while fighting properly like yoshi. When she tries it becomes difficult to maintain the flow of mana and move at the same time. Yoshi just smile seeing how she reacted,yuri shivered seeing his smile and hastily creates 5 mana lances infront of her waiting for yoshi to make a move . And when he shot foward yuri immediately threw the lances at him and creates 5 more, when the first lance arrive infront of yoshi he use his fist covered in mana and deviate it then dodge the rest with a sidestep. It is almost impossible to hit him like that because if before he was running, now he is sliding towards her. She manage to shoot three times and then he was infront of her with his right fist pull backward,upon realizing the situation yuri rise both of her hands to block since she can't dodge and trying to deviate is risky. The moment she tried to block his attack yoshi panted his feet on the ground and threw an upper cut under her crossed arm. The hit forcefully shot both of her hands up in the air and another fist covered in mana stopped just a few centimeters from her face. The pressure of the punch blew her hair away.

"Another win for me."yoshi said while smiling to his sister.

"Tsk"but she just click her tongue and started walking towards a tree were they kept their stuff.

Yoshi just followed behind her not bothered by her giving him the cold shoulder.

"But what the hell was that kick you threw at my face ?"yoshi asked after sitting down to drink some water.

Yuri left out a small chuckle before answering.

"Since I can't keep up with your bullshit like speed i created that move to counter it and i named it "counter strike" she explained

"Hahaha"yoshi atarted laughing and yuri gave him a confused look.

"Ahem, sorry i am just happy that you growing on your on*he answered"and since you have been a good girl we will leave for azares tomorrow "and with he said it

Yuri's head move in a slow motion and he turn to him

"Really?"she asked doudtful about it.

But yoshi only nob his head to answer her. She immediately tackle him to the ground and started bombarding kisses on his face.

"I love you brother"after saying that she got up and ran towards the village while laughing leaving a stunned yoshi behind.

When yoshi came back to himself he just smile and started packing.

Yuri and yoshi were busy preparing for azares for the rest of the day. Yoshi saved around 30 silver coins and 78 copper coins which is enough to take them to azares. The preparation was quite simple since they don't have many things they only took clothes.

The next day they were to leave to rent a carriage but the lady who owns the inn insisted that they have breakfast first. After they thank the woman and left.

They rent a carriage for 20 copper coins and started their journey to azares.
