52 Incident

I felt my heart begin to flutter with excitement when Boberre unlocked the front door with me standing right there next to him instead of being locked in my room. That alone was a major development that I never thought was going to happen.

When I stepped out of the building and into the crisp morning air for the first time in nearly two months, I took a deep breath and felt the fresh air fill my lungs.

"What are you doing?" Boberre looked at me like I was a weirdo or something. I could clearly see that he couldn't understand my reasoning behind my actions.

"This is the first breath of fresh air I have had since you took me into your home. It tastes so good." That, for some reason, made Boberre's eyes go wide. Did he not think that the fresh air was better than the stagnant air inside of a building?

"W..well, let's go."
