Chapter 4.

The Kingdoms.

Loviatar and the rest could only sigh seeing the conclusion of the fight. Just from the feeling that Mars gave off in the middle of it had already told them who was going to come out on top anyway, but seeing it still set a wave of disappoint throughout their bodies.

Lilith just smiled as she floated down towards Mars, landing next to him.

"Since that's done now, let's go make a palace!" She shouted excitedly, grabbing his hand she flew off into the sky, leaving the other Primordial there to clean up the mess that was left behind.

Rau was literally shaking with annoyance and anger, he showed them something this great and all he got in return was a terrifying experience and more work to do.

'Curse that vampire!' He shouted internally, though on the outside, the only thing he could do is sigh and hold his head high even though he was feeling completely different.

His pride in his strength wouldn't let him hold his head low, even if he was the weakest amongst the six of them

"Since that's over, I'm going to head out as well. Seems like we will be living here from now on so I would like to get a head start on building my Kingdom." And with that, Loviatar bid farewell to his siblings and flew off towards a random part of the newly created forest.

"Then I guess I'll go and retrieve Seth... Though I'll most likely need your help to hold him still once he wakes up. You know how he gets after a good fight, right?" Whiro said with an apologetic smile. Rau just nodded his giant head before going to work on fixing the giant mess as well as make his Kingdom...

"Mars, why don't we make one together? Wouldn't that be better than having two separate ones? Think about it! A giant Kingdom full of Vampires and Demons! Doesn't that sound incredible?" Lilith questioned, her expectant and excited emotions literally oozing off her as she flew around Mars.

"...It would be wise to connect them all. I do need to keep an eye on you all after all." Mars replied. Lilith felt her excitement start to dwindle and her annoyance rise.

"You know you don't always have to live by the rules Father set for you, right? He gave you a life, so enjoy it! Don't tie yourself down to babysitting those idiots." Lilith said, zooming up in front of Mars, stopping his flight.

He studied her face and saw that her blue eyes were looking into his with an expectant look. Her brows furrowed as well.

"... I do not have permission to abandon Fathers orders. It wouldn't be wise to anger him." Mars replied, his expression of indifference never fading. Lilith's expression faltered hearing his answer. She wanted nothing more than for Mars to be able to think for himself, but it seems like that wouldn't be possible anytime soon.

Sighing, she backed away from Mars and continued on their quest of looking for suitable land.

"Come on. Let's just settle down somewhere." She said, her despondent tone caused Mars to grow a bit confused.

'... She's sad?'

Deciding it's best to let her sort out her emotions on her own, he followed behind her quietly.

Meanwhile, on the main region of Tortus.

The three main races settlements were full of worried and scared inhabitants. The leaders of these settlements were preparing for incoming battles as they all held a despairing expression while rushing around, preparing all they can for the incoming danger...

Or what they thought was incoming danger.

The demons had a mixture of worry and excitement as they prepared for the incoming danger they thought was coming. The bloodlust they felt run through their bodies scared them shitless, but it also made the more battle hungry demons excited and ready.

"Just what monster did we piss off?" an old Demon questioned, sitting at a wooden table surrounded by chairs. There were eight different demons, all of them were of old age but their serious gazes and strict facial expressions showed just how many battles and disasters they've been through.

"I don't know... But that lust for blood wasn't directed at us, but we still felt it... I say we should prepare our borders just in case whatever that monster was mad at, makes its way over here. I doubt we could stop it but being prepared never hurt anyone." The old demon spoke.

The others at the table nodded in agreement before they started ordering the other surrounding demons to head out.

The humans, however, completely handled this differently. They were all disorganized, scattering and screaming from fright as they hurriedly packed all they had in their makeshift homes into woolen or wheat made baskets.

Disorganized, they had no one to lead them. People were being pushed over and trampled, hell some parents even left their children to try and save themselves, leaving the children to get trampled.

Looking at this a single man decided to take it into his own hands. Using some basic magic, he manipulated the earth to create a platform that puts him above everyone, making it easier for the people to see him.

But before he started his speech, he thought to himself.

'Why are they so worried? it wasn't directed towards us... Look at them, abandoning everything in hope to save themselves... Children, animals, elderly... Everything. Truly pathetic.' Frowning, he opened his mouth.

"Everyone! Please calm down!" His voice thundered throughout the settlement, causing the wild groups of humans to snap their heads in his direction.

"Please calm down, I assure you that nothing will come to harm us! The bloodlust you all felt wasn't directed at us, and it's also a possibility that it's just two monsters fighting nearby! Regain yourselves and look around you!" He shouted.

The humans in the area started to visibly calm down, now that they had a 'leader' they were starting to think more rationally, looking around, mothers and fathers alike were brought to tears at the fact that they left their children behind. Others were broken by the fact that a bit of bloodlust sent them all into this frenzy, causing them to basically almost kill each other.

The man on the uplifted earth smirked seeing them all start calming down, the kingdom he wished to build needed to be built with him at the center after all. And if the people don't have some sort of faith in him then it would all be for naught.

The beast men handled it a lot better than the other two races. Due to their increased sensitivity to things, they easily discerned whether or not the bloodlust was aimed at them, while some were still scared shitless, some were able to still think rationally. Which led to the others calming down.

...

The Primordials, completely oblivious to the mess they just made, were happily and excitedly building their new Kingdoms.

Rau went for a more, earthly look to it, basically making his Kingdom out of the earth by using mountains and other things to build it. Basically, making his kingdom look more... Rural compared to the others.

He wanted to have inhabitants for his Kingdom as well, but he didn't know if there were any giants on Tortus in the first place, so he decided to make his own race with the help of the little control he had over life and earth,

Basically, making golems that looked... Human? Like and then giving life to them.

Loviatar did the complete opposite of his monster brother, he went all out in making his Kingdom. Making it in his 'ideal' image, which is basically how he carried himself, so his Kingdom was prestige and beautiful. Giving it a look of Royalty that was of the highest order.

He planned to go and get some elves to live there, which means that he had to ask Rau to make this place public soon. Rau didn't mind and neither did the others. After all, nothing can harm them in this world.

Whiro made his Kingdom out of... Ice for some reason. Seth had asked him after he woke up why they were in a kingdom made of Ice and all Whiro said was.

"My ice comfy." And then fell asleep on the floor. Leaving Seth freezing and lost in the giant maze of Ice.

Now, Lilith and Mars went ahead and made their own combined Kingdom as well, but they had a load of trouble at the start due to the fact that Mars wouldn't give his input on what he wanted, making Lilith stuck at the first part...

They all have their own manipulation but Mars didn't have one of ice or earth, hell not even plants at the level of his 'siblings.'. Lilith didn't either, her 'manipulation' ability was weapon creation, meaning that she was only really able to kill things.

But! No matter how stressful it got, they still got it done. They went with a dark and light type thing, kind of funny since Lilith was the Primordial of Black and her part of the kingdom was of light...

Anyway, Mars being the Edgy half empty boy he is, got the dark side where they have cookies.

"Whew! Finally done." Lilith exclaimed as she proudly looked at the giant double palace in front of her.

"Hey, Mars? Are you sure you don't want to live with me on my side of the palace? Not to be rude or anything, but like... Your side looks... Creepy." She said with an apologetic smile. Mars looked at her before looking back at his side.

"... I don't know, but it doesn't look that bad..." He replied, his once robotic voice nowhere to be heard. His voice was now that of a mature young boy, maybe around the age of seventeen.

Lilith smiled before she walked up behind Mras and hugged him, throwing him off guard. She placed her chin on his left shoulder and spoke.

"Glad you're finally starting to change your ways..." She spoke softly, causing Mars to take in a deep breath of air, mostly to calm himself down.

He wanted to reply but the feeling of something tugging on his consciousness caught his tongue.

'... What's going on? Father?' Mars' face changed to that of solemness before he closed his eyes, surrendering himself to his fate.

It was time to switch out. His soul was no longer needed for this body and the real owner was now ready to take his place.

Noticing his lack of speech, Lilith let go of Mars and circled around to face him, looking at him with furrowed and confused brows.

"Mars? What're yo-"

*BOOM!
