13 Death camp

After a few second Orpheus took his sights off Seth and began to look at every one else in the room. For some reason Seth got a feeling that this person is going to give him a lot of trouble in his future and some part of him is looking forward to it. Anyway after Orpheus finally got enough of looking at every one he began to speak "First off I would like to congratulate every one of you for being able to take of your training wheels and finally get started in you reaper career. Now I'm sure that 99 percent of you know why you are hear but for the 1 percent that that don't or just don't have enough brain cells to comprehend whats going on let me give you a little summary. You are here so I and my wonderful partners in crime aka you teachers can teach you what it means to be a reaper . . oh and how not to die so fast, I guess that's important to." he then gave off a hearty laugh that had a little evilness to it.

Many people in the room started becoming uncomfortable and nervous for what was to come. After having his laugh Orpheus put on the same smile as before and continued with "Now while in this camp let me remind you that everyone around you is your competitor. There is no team playing in this camp. If you want to make sure you get into an association, a good association, then show off what your made of, make sure that you stand out more then the others to get notice even if it means killing them, after all they can't be better then you if they are already dead." After Seth heard Orpheus last word he had a couple of complaints "(Oh you have got to be sh**ing me. Here i thought i was going to have some fun in this camp now this A** just made it a survival of the fittest, I mean what the hell.)" Suddenly Seth remembered about that nurse and how she commented on how she was going to busy he guessed this is why. While Seth was lost in his thought he suddenly felt someone staring at him and he looked towards where it was coming from it was none other than Orpheus. Seeing Orpheus stare at him Seth felt he was in for another wonderful surprise and couldn't help but sigh.

Orpheus then took his eyes off Seth then began to speak again with "Oh that also reminds me, there a couple of people in here that were specially chosen by certain gods to be reapers. I sure most of you have heard about these chosen ones, but what you don't know is that these lucky few have a higher chance to get into an association then the rest of you, so these people are the ones that you have to look out for the most if you want to be ahead of the game" "(. . . I hate him." Those where the first thoughts that Seth had after what he hear. He can just imagine what it will be like being annoyed everyday to fight by someone just because they think they can beat you. If there was one good thing that Seth can say about this situation it would be that he hasn't told anyone that he was a chosen one

However it seems a certain someone has other plans. Orpheus spoke out again with " Now why don't we bring these newborns onto the stage" he then snapped his fingers and in a flash Seth found himself standing on the stage he was just looking at and it seems that he was not the only one. Along with him were twelve other people that were also transported with him one of those including Ember. Altogether there was five guys and eight girls that appeared all responding to this sudden situation in there own way. Orpheus voice sounded out once again "These thirteen people are the lucky ones that stand above you and also the ones you may want to gun for the most. However, when they were given to me by there bosses they gave me a strict warning to not make it too difficult for them. So with that said they are off limits for lets say 6 months. This means you can't touch them and they can't touch you, unless both parties agree willingly with a soul contract and if anyone tries to break this rule I can promise you that I will find out about it and I will make sure your soul will be erased never allowing you to reincarnate ever again. This rule also includes my current camp attendees." Many people in the crowd started to become a little uncomfortable with that statement, however Seth was different and was more curious on what a soul contract is and being thankful for the 6 month ban on the chosen reapers. That is until Orpheus spoke out again as if remembering something "Oh that reminds me there is an exception to the rule and that would be the boy with the silver hair, he's free rain to all newbies and only the newbies the rest will have to wait until after 6 months." Seth complained in his mind "(Why is it that every time I think something good about a situation he makes it worst.)"

Orpheus then changed his topic and goes into how the camp works. He first talked talked on how each reaper were assigned a certain rank deemed appropriate for them. These ranks are important because depending on the rank you have the more info or learning materials you can gather. There are six ranks in total, it goes pawn, rook, knight, bishop, Queen, and finally King. In the middle of his explaining he says "while on the topics of ranks lets me give out the clothes that specially made for the Kings class." After that he snapped his finger and a bright light shot of blinding everyone one. When Seth finally got his sight back he noticed he was wearing some new clothes. When he looked he saw he was wearing a black suit uniform. When he looked at the others on the stage he noticed that they had been changed into the same clothes. As he looked at them he noticed their was an image of a gold crown on their arm, back, and necktie.

While he was checking out his new clothes Orpheus asked us "So how do you like the new looks made it myself believe it or not" With not much attention Seth spoke what was in his mind while looking at Orpheus which was "Its not bad, a little tacky with the crowns all over the clothes but more then anything i feel violated that you changed my clothes without asking and I'm sure the women feel even worse then me" After Seth said those words there was nothing but silence. When he looked around he saw everyone was giving him a weird look again. Seth then moved his sights back on Orpheus who's smile seemed to have a little twitch to it. He then spoke "You want to repeat yourself I don't believe i heard you correctly" as he said those word Seth suddenly felt a lot of pressure towards him, almost as if something was pressing down on him making it hard for him to stand. Seth answered calmly with "I said thanks for the clothes but next time ask before you change us especially for the woman". Orpheus stared hard at Seth and he stared right back. As they were staring the pressure on Seth slowly started increasing almost becoming unbearable for him until all ow a sudden the pressure vanished and Orpheus laughed "Seems you have some back bone I like that" he then snapped his finger again and in a flash Seth found himself hovering a couple of feet above the seat he was in before. Then the gravity kicked in and Seth started to fall towards them. Seth reacted quickly and grabbed the head of the chair, then he twisted his body so he would land seated in the chair but because of his weight the chair twisted with so he made it so the back of the chair face the stage with sitting in it with the back of the chair between his legs.

After Seth's little stunt he looked back to Orpheus who had an amused look on his face. He then fixed his position on the chair and looked to the side a saw ember in her chair like nothing even happened. When he looked back to Orpheus he was already back to completing the rest of his speech. He went onto where the other ranks would be situated along with some rules that would pertain to the fighting of others. Most of these rules pertained to the location that were off limits to fighting in. Some examples would be the classes that are used to teaching, the nurses room, and the library. After going into a few more details on some miscellaneous things like were were sleep and how to find your way around the campuses he finished with "and with that I hope you enjoy your time in my campuses and survive till you graduation, have fun" he then dissipated in a flash of light.
