19 Success odds

As been requested, here's a longer chapter.

After she said her proposition, which sounded more like an order, I immediately used my ultimate weapon, "Narcos contact lenses feature."

However, to my surprise, it didn't have a 100% chance of rising infatuation this time.

<Intializing contact lenses>

< High difficulty detected>

<Odds feature will be automatically added between the options>

<

The host is obligated to pick a sentence:

1-"You think I am lying? Let's go then."

Infatuation: -5 points

Description: Show's a foolish, humorous side of you.

Odds of success: 100%

Route: Can lead to illegal complications.

2- "No need for that, just pay for my uniform, and we can forget about this matter."

Infatuation: +3 points

Description: get out of the situation with minimal profit and damage.

Odds of success: 70%.

Route: if the path got rejected, the first option would be automatically asserted.

3-"that's a good idea, but I have a better one; how about we have the check-up session inside my room?"

Infatuation: +15%

Description: the sentence shows that you possess some serious big balls, as nobody ever dared to talk to the Ito family main descendant like that.

Odds of success: 60%

Route: fast rise in infatuation for a relatively high difficulty target, still, if you failed, -20 infatuation points would be auto deduced.

Getting the options transmitted to me like a screen in front of my eyes, I noticed the odds of success bar, and in a buckle, I rapidly questioned Narcos about the reason it showed up.

< If the target clearing difficulty equal or surpass A-, the host will need to decide between the available options, with distinct probabilities of prosperity >

'What the heck, man, that's worst than doing it myself!'

<Narcos provides supplementary stats and pieces of information, which is impossible for humans or any form of Al to accomplish; without my help, you will not even have a single shot with such a rich, beautiful, well-groomed, and tremendously talented target, to put it in simple words both of you are from entirely separate words and leagues>

'Hmph! Bastard, why put it like that'

I knew that Narcoa didn't intend to insult me, as he was just stating facts, even though the way he narrates things was shockingly insensitive; nevertheless, I had some other matter on my plate right now to worry about.

Looking back at the options, I analyzed each one of them individually; the first one was ignorant and dangerous; at least after, I framed her rude guard.

if I got caught fibbing, I will definitely spend some months in Jail.

And I definitely can't let that happen.

Regardless, it will be ultimately my fate if I used the second option, and miserably failed.

Of course, the percentage was pretty high, but it didn't suit my style at all, I'm a bold gambler, the profits offered by such route are way more slight than the third option.

I mean, what merely 3 points and a uniform can do to help my cause?

Which leaves me to the third selection, either get 15 points or lose 20 points, to be honest, I didn't care about the infatuation points as much than getting out of this event without harm, I can still work my way up if I managed to keep my life and freedom.

'Shit, In a second, I was on my way to get a check, and now I am racking my brain to survive!'

...

And Eventually, after circulating his thoughts, Yami trusted his gambling senses and went with the third option.

His mouth wasn't been taken control of this time, signaling that the way he said it, his expression, and also the body language, will benefit or wreck the influence of the options.

...

I got up in a single motion, face void of pain, I looked directly into my target eyes, ignoring all spectaculars, strolling in her direction while brushing my clothes from the collected dust.

Everyone's eyes were startled, seeing the boy, that was in so much agony just a moment ago, leisurely walk, while his expression changed, like a first-class actor.

Closing up the distance, I felt a hand clasp my shoulder a couple of inches from my target.

It belonged none other than my brother's.

I turned my head and saw his expression; he was fuming with irritation, but I didn't have it either; this bastard enjoyed all that lavish life in two godawful lifetimes, it doesn't get better than that, while I was forced to live in a damned orphanage.

And the bitter part is these wealthy punks act like there the shit; if I had a top class education, a daddy with deep pockets, and some decent friends, I would've been the same as them.

Of course, some of them does earn it, as my target did, yet the majority of them just abuse their social status.

Hence, I jerked his hand from my shoulder; smile never left my face, as my sharp gaze made him shrank back a slight bit.

Leaving him frowning while trying to utter what I perceived to be bullshit, I reached my target spot.

She was grinning the same as me, wondering what would happen next.

Then, I whispered in her ears, the shameless words.

Her brows rose instantly, not expecting such words to come out of my mouth; my heart fluttered seeing her expressionless visage, not knowing how did she catch my sentence.

Yet, a loud laugh resounded deeply in my eardrums.

I averted my eyes to take a peek at her; she was laughing so hard like she heard the best joke in her entire life.

Her brother pushed me aside, asking, "What's wrong? What did he say?."

She didn't look at him but at me?

And then, after our eyes met, she couldn'thelp herself and had round two of loudly chuckling.

Looking at her, it's either she never thought a young teen like me would have the guts to utter such words, or maybe she found something comical at the way I said it.

Either way, all of those assumptions were beneficial to me; my worst fear was that she would consider my phrase a creepy, disrespectful pickup line and immediately ask the guards to beat me up.

But that doesn't look like what's happening right now.

After finishing with the giggles, she muttered some words towards her brother, "Don't worry, he just made a joke, right?" looking at me.

I could've said yes, and ran to my bike, but I won't call that a fruitful hunting day.

So, I pondered what to say to make myself look half-serious, half-joking, and another gamble crossed my mind.

What if I used the second option too? In't it the best way to complete my show?

And just like that, I answered, twisting some of narcos words and using them for my own good, "Is it? Well, my mental trauma caused by your guard isn't a joke, so you have to compensate me,"

Her brother "Mauro" frowned and answered instead, "Oh, now it's mental, wasn't it your chest just a minute ago,"

"Friend, my chest also hurts, but my trauma overpower such insignificant injury; looking at your figure, you also seem to have some traumas," pointing at his height, as I shrugged my shoulders.

His face became uglier after hearing my underhanded insults, shouting, "And what kind of compensation you want?"

"Sir, I don't talk to children; let grown people discuss critical matters,"

He wasn't that young; in fact, he seemed older than me with about 1-2 years, yet his frame looked like an illegal loli.

Sighing, I dismissed him and brought all my attention towards his sister, "Nothing much, just pay for my uniform, am sure that isn't expensive looking at you guys clothes,"

"Uniform?" she questioned.

"Yes, it's for some kind of top elite Academy; it's quite pricy for someone like me,"

"Elite Academy? You mean Plato's academy on the Western side of the city?" her interest peaked a little bit, crossing her arms as she waited for my answer.

(A/N: Plato Academy is an ancient Greek Academy founded by the famous philosopher Plato and his students)

"I have no idea what's the name; I just got a scholarship from there, and I will start attending it from tomorrow morning,"

"Oh, Well, Plato's uniform is usually white; how's your uniform look like?"

"White," I said.

She quickly followed, "Then it's probably Plato Academy; we all attended it since we started school; you must be brilliant and highly accomplished to get a scholarship from there,"

'Brilliant? Smart? A dog might've been more intelligent than me.'

"Luck, it's just luck," I replied.

Glasses boy surprisingly stopped reading his pocketbook and chimed, "Hm, Aren't you the humble one," he then clapped his hand and rang, "We don't have a zoo over here, everyone minds his business, there's nothing to be seen anymore,"

After the loud declaration, he wrapped his hand around my shoulder and said, "I like you, and I'm the one who will pay for your uniform; follow me inside,"

He surprised me at how he operates so quickly, but I still followed him inside;
