67 Ray

NICK'S POINT OF VIEW

Everything he thinks knows just came apart. In one instant his life changes forever. He blinks a few times to try and register what he just heard. He shakes his head in disbelief as he needs to confirm what he just heard.

"Helena? Helena and her baby? The baby is yours?"

"Aaahhhh!!"

He watches as tears are streaming down Ray's eyes. Nick's not sure if the tears are from the pain or the guilt. 

"I need to know Ray?"

"Fuck, yes…yes it's mine"

He grabs Nick's arm again and doesn't let go. Nick wants to kill the man in front of him but he also wants to help him. He feels hate and sadness at the same time. He wants him to die but he also wants him to live. The internal struggle doesn't end. 

"Why, Ray? Why, goddammit!"

"I'm sorry, Nick. I'm so sorry! Fuck…I know it's too late but I need you to look after them"
