You are trying to wrap your head around what you just heard Hannah said. You are not sure if you heard correctly but she said something about Angie going out with John for five years? Behind my back? You thought that she was only dating him now when you broke up with him.

In your short time with the Navy Seals, you have learned that you should not jump to conclusions. So, you ask Hannah again.

"I am sorry, can you please repeat what you said?"

You are sure that she sees the frown on your face and then you know that she realized that she should probably not have said anything.

"Oh my god, didn't you know? I thought you knew about five years and that is why you are okay with them sitting there holding hands. I am so sorry..."

You then try to repeat what she said to you in your mind again and make sure that you understand what you just heard. This must mean that Angie went out with John while you were a couple?
