I jump into the water and I know that it is going to be ice cold but it is more like I am being burnt by the ice of the water once my skin hits the water. I have to stop my natural reaction from gasping and not take in water. But I quickly shake it off as I do not have time to think about that right now.

I swim as fast and hard as I can through the corridors using every wall to my advantage to get me closer to the deck door. I can feel how this extra energy of moving faster starts to take away my air. I know that I can not hold on much longer but I finally found the door. I kick the door open with as much force as I can gather under the water and I know if I do not get through this door I will die.
