Kattegat

The series Vikings takes place in the settlement of Kattegat in Norway ... but in fact Kattegat is the name of a strait between Denmark and Sweden.

In fact, such a settlement did not exist. I placed the Kattegat about which I am writing in Norway on the west bank, near today's Stavanger. About 70-80 km from Karmøy.
