10 Ch.9 You Ge Undergoing Tribulation
Millions Flowers Peak, Half a year later.
It has been half a year since the the conversation regarding Lan Xiao physique and the ascension of You Ge to the rank of Venerable Celestial Immortal.
Currently the Millions Flowers Peak seem more desolate that usual
Usually the the peak would have servants roaming around taking care of everything within the peak
But today there were none, only five people are left at the peak
Only Lan Meigui, Lan Xiao, You Ge, Jin Yi, and An Bei'er stay at the peak.
The reason for the lack of people on the peak except for the five is due to the upcoming Tribulation that You Ge is going to undergo.

lightning Tribulation or also known as Ascension Tribulation are essentially a challenge for a cultivator to ascend to a higher realm.
The Tribulation only first started to happen when a cultivator want to ascend to the rank of Half Immortal, and after that if a cultivator want to reach realm ascension, the will always have to undergo a Tribulation
Any ascension to a realm below the level of Half Immortal will not trigger the tribulation.
The higher they go, the more powerful the tribulation will be, snd dying while undergoing the tribulation is not an uncommon thing, that's why some cultivator's never bother ascending to the next realm if they feel like they will not be able to success.
And currently You Ge is about to undergo the tribulation for ascending to the rank of Venerable Celestial Immortal.
This will be quite a dangerous thing, because the rank or Venerable Celestial is the third highest level in cultivation world, the only thing above it is the rank of Celestial king and the Celestial Emperor, so for reaching this rank the tribulation is immensely powerful and dangerous.
Of course there are way to help ease the process, such as pills, elixir, and powerful defensive formation.
Which thankfully You Ge did not lack considering who her master is.

Currently You Ge are doing last minutes preparation, making sure everything is ready, after all a single miscalculation might result in her death, something she'd rather avoid.
Still even with all the preparation and with the help of his mother, Lan Xiao can't help but still feels anxious about it.
You Ge seeing her little brother frowning in worry let out a chuckle, the way he frown in worry is kinda cute in endearing way.
To ease his worry, she pat his head and says
"Fufufu no need to be overly worry little Xiao'er, everthing is under control"
Lan Xiao whom still worried about her safety can't help but say in worry
"But sister Ge'er what if-"
You Ge interrupt his word
"Now now, I know you are worried about me and I am really happy for that, but I promise you everything is under control"
Lan Xiao nodded, and before going to a safe distance he give a big hug for You Ge
"Please be okay sister?"
"Ara ara, yes I promise to be okay"
Hearing her reassurance, he start to do small jog toward the place where he will be viewing the Tribulation
Under the protection of his mother.

After seeing Lan Xiao left You Ge turn to the other two people near her, her junior sister, Jin Yi and An Bei'er
Both of them obviously want to say something but choose to keep quiet.
After all all three of them have been together for more that hundreds of thousands years, they are all sisters in all but blood.
Jin Yi the more stoic of the three nodded at her which she also nodded back, Jin Yi give her a strong hug and without saying word also left for safer place to view the process.
And An Bei'er give a warm calm hug, and before also leaving for safer distance said
"Good luck sister"
She smile and nodded at her

After seeing everyone leave she took a deep breath, and start to sit to get herself ready.
And just as she was about to prepare herself, she heard a faint but noticable voice
"Good luck... "
Hearing this she smile
"Thank you master"
And she is now prepared to undergo the The great tribulation.
Her usually warm pink eyes narrow in coldness and look up at the sky and with voice filled with power and conviction
"Hmph bring it on"

And just like that numerous black clouds appear above her, each of this clouds carries immensely powerful lightning tribulation that well test her.
If she survive, she will reach the realm of Venerable Celestial, a realm where even cultivators in the "Dawn" Grand upper realm would heavily respect and fear, after all the only thing above it the absolutely monstrous existence that is the Celestial King and the even more monstrous Celestial Emperor.
If she fail however, if she wasn't killed, then her cultivation will regress all the way to the rank of early stage of Immortal Emperor, and IF she is unlucky may even regress all the way to Profound Immortal, and completly crippled her capabilities to ascend anymore no matter where she regress.

Seeing the clouds start to gather, once again Lan Xiao now within a safe distance and standing next to his mother start to worried again.
However he suddenly feels a warm hand patting his head.
He turn around and sees his mother, with her left arm patting his head, thought her face remain expressionless.
Not wanting to worries his mother he start to take a deep breath and calm his mind to remove his worry.
He once again turn toward You Ge.
The Clouds now gather at the sky in top of her, even though the tribulation haven't started yet he can already feel the suffocating energies, and would most likely pass out due to his low cultivation base, and without protection of his mother, whom have stop patting him but still have her hand atop of his head.
And suddenly he could feel the energies of the tribulation clouds increasing rapidly to the point where he can't feel it anymore due to his low cultivation base.

An the tribulation began
Lightning bolt of unimaginable scale start to rain down on her, if any cultivator below the 10th step of Profound Celestial were to get hit by it, the would without a doubt die.
Each lightning bolt if it were to fall to a lower realm could completely devastate it or maybe even destroy it.
Each lightning bolt carries that sort of power without fail strikes at You Ge who is attempting to reach the realm of Venerable Celestial.
And Lan Xiao who is watching can't do nothing except watch in worry, even though his mother start to pat him once again to calm him, it still can't remove his worries.
Even with the numerious protection that cover the place that he and his mother and his sisters, he could still feel the suffocating energy, and if it wasn't for the protection formation his mother set up, I am afraid he would have died from all the powerful energies.

Of course such tribulation will gather the eyes of people within the Infinity Dragon Sect.
Within a room in the inner courtyard of the sect a meeting is currently happening, mainly involving the matter of the Sect youth gathering that is about to happen within half a year.
The meeting is mostly consisted of High ranking outer elder, and inner elders, plus some core elder and the temporary sect master.
The true leader of the Sect, the Infinity Dragon Goddess rarely appears, and most of the time a temporary sect master will be appointed.
Long Hong is the current temporary sect master.
He is the temp sect master, he is a powerhouse of the 6th step of Celestial Emperor, but still weaker compared to the other 4 grand elder which includes Lan Meigu.
The reason he was selected mainly because the other four agree to have him appointed as the temp sect master.
And the reason why none of the 4 Grand Elder including Lan Meigui didn't become the temp sect master instead is because none of them is bothered to do it, they prefer to spend their time strengthening themselves and doing whatever hobby they have, which in Lan Meigui case, reading, a hobby she have since she was a child.
The four Grand Elder is mostly protectors for the sect, and these four powerhouse is the reason the Infinity Dragon sect is considered as the most powerful sect there is in the "Dawn" Grand upper realm.

The meeting was still underway when You Ge tribulation started.
When they sense the tribulation happening, all the elders eyes are immediately gathered at the millions Flowers Peak, and although there are incredible powerful formation preventing them from seeing what's happening inside, the could still sense the tribulation energies.
"So Lady You Ge tribulation has started"
Said a high ranking outer elder whom happen to be a friend of You Ge
"Hahahahaha with this our sect will have another Venerable Celestial, making us even stronger!"
Exclaimed a female inner elder in happiness
"Hmph what what make you think the girl is going to success at the tribulation?"
An inner elder who've been stuck at the 10th step of profound immortal for more than 500,000 thousands years said in jealousy
"Ha! you are just jelous old man, I know what You Ge is capable of! She will surely without a doubt success in the tribulation!"
"Hmph we'll see about that"
And the temp sect master who's also at the meeting can't help but sigh at all the commotion

Yes, the reason for the lack of suprise is due to Jin Yi informing the necessary individuals of the tribulation that is going to happen three days ago and the news of it's soon spread.

She has been undergoi the tribulation for 30 minutes now, and although it might not seems much, in reality it is an extremely long and painful 30 minutes.
You Ge current condition have seen a better days
Her clothing is on absolutely tattered, some cut here and there appear in her body, and many more bruises.
however her will is still strong.
The lightning bolt have come less in number but higher in strength.
She realize that she will soon finish the tribulation but she know she will have to face one last bolt, the bolt will contain all the accumulated energy of the lightning tribulation into one bolt and strike her with it, this will be the dangerous one, she have a genuine change of failing if she isn't careful.
Soon a small transformation happen to her, her previously light pink eyes turn into glowing light Pink eyes, and majestic black colored horn appear on both side of her head.
although small, both of these transformation not only greatly increase her defensive strength, but also enhance her beauty.

Lan Xiao who've been watching the tribulation, is quite worried when seeing the thunderbol stop appearing but the cloud is still there because he knows that there is going to be one powerful last strike.

And suddenly an incredibly powerful lightning bolt strike You Ge, the power of this lightning bolt is at least five time the strength of the previous lightning bolt.
Lan Xiao eyes widen in worry, thought in soon disappear both from the head pat his mother still giving him, and trust he have for his beloved sister

There You Ge, clothes in tatter, body full of wound, but her eyes still resolute and strong.
Her horn disappear and her eyes is no longer glowing.
She let out a smile
She had succeed
She is now at the 2nd step, of Venerable Celestial, thanks to the tempering of the thunder tribulation, instead of advancing toward only the first step, she manage to reach the second step instead, something she is quite pleased about.
Her sense quickly pick up a small(to her standard) energy rushing toward her.
She smile and open her arm.
"Sister!"
Lan Xiao who sees that the area has been cleared from the thunder tribulation energies due to You Ge absorbing it, immediately ran toward her and hug her
"Ara ara"
