1 The Laws of Magic

There are various laws to how magic works, how to wield it, and how to apply it to make daily life easier. These laws are not final, as more may be discovered in the future. The current laws are here:

1. Magic must be drawn from atleast one source. This source can be anything, as long as the source contains the magical energy needed, and the individual or object using the magic has access to said source.

2. Magic can be casted three ways as of writing this: Silent casting, Verbal casting, and Sigil casting.

2a. Silent casting is done by simply using the magic you wish to use by willing it. This is the most commonly used form of magic, as it is quick and easy.

2b. Verbal casting is done by naming the spell you are using and saying it. This increases the strength and attributes of your spell, at the cost of using more of one's energy and the time that would've been free if not for the caster speaking.

2c. Sigil casting is done by carving, drawing, or attaching a symbol of some kind that represents your spell. The sigil can then be triggered by various means to activate the spell from the sigil. This is commonly used for magical appliances such as Limitless Water Buckets.

3. Magic comes from the soul. Any object or organism that contains a soul will always produce magic. The rate of magic production varies per person/soul, but every soul WILL produce it, no matter how slow.

4. Magic can be found in all states of matter, including the basic four: Solid, Liquid, Gas, and Plasma. Magic can be changed to its other forms via the will of the caster.

5. Magical energy works similar to electricity in its plasma form. It can be conducted and insulated via various materials.

6. Magic can be wielded in these ways:

6a. Direct: Magic can be directly drawn from the soul and used to attack. Magic in its default state is plasma, and is effective at attacks towards the soul.

6b. Form: Magic can be formed into any state of matter, and can be shaped into any shape, as long as the caster has enough magical energy to expand or shrink the shape to the size desired.

6c. Elemental: Magic can be formed into various elements, such as Fire, Water, Earth or Air. This is one of the most commonly used forms of magic.

6d. Force: Magic can be formed into various forces, like gravity. This is how most will fly.

6e. Enhancement: Magic can be used to increase any physical attribute of any object.

6f. Mental: Magic can be used to alter the mind.

6g. Alchemical: Magic can be used to alter the properties or entirely change an object.

6h. Special: In rare cases, magic can be used to alter nonphysical forces, like space, and time. Other magics that are not explained in the other types fall into Special automatically.

7. Technically, anyone can learn any type of magic, however some, such as Special, are harder to learn than others. Some have a natural profiency in one type of magic over another.

These are the laws we currently have.
