2 The generals news

It's been 6 years since general todoroki took me into his care,and let me just say that I've grown stronger from that time after he became my caretaker I became his daughter and soon had to find out the what was waiting for me after becoming his daughter. ok back to the story.

The Red Village is where General Todoroki rules,he is a very respected leader."Gin".Shoto called to me trying to wake me up, "Come on you have a very busy day ahead of you". "Just a few more mins I said but in a muffled voice due to a pillow being in my face". "I got a letter for you but if you don't want to see it that's fine". W..wait I'll be out in a sec don't throw it away". I said trying to get myself ready. "I'm ready what is it". I said i was actually excited to see the letter because the only time I got a letter was when it was for something important like the other generals asking my father for permission to send me to their village to complete a mission they asign me. "I'll read it". He said opening the letter and starting to read it. He suddenly looks a little worried looking at me and back at the letter. "Why are you doing that your making me nervous". I said looking at him but trying to peek at the letter at the same time. "Well my darling I have some news for you but you may not like it". He said doing the usual awkward laugh and rubbing his head." You have been given an invitation to attend Lang Si Highschool, you along with the generals sons and daughters from the other nations heheh". He said happily. I thought to myself that this was a great opportunity to see the other nations and how they work but at the same time it was dangerous having all the nations children together.( In this world each nation study's a certain power) I asked my father if this was wise he waved off my idea and told me that everything will be ok but I knew from the looks of his face that he was unsure about if this was a good idea as well. " It says that you will begin school in 3 weeks so you'll have time to prepare yourself". "Well that's good I said in a cheery voice". "Well let's start training like it said I need to be prepared when I go to school". We both make our way to a training room, we have two training rooms the first room is to do combat but the other room is to use my power(remember when I said each nation had a certain ability that they all practice,the red nation practices fire) "Alright Gin let's see how much you improved from the last time we practiced". Shoto said stepping on to a huge mat on the floor,I got on to the mat and we began to practice using our fire ability. A few hours went by and I was exhausted I decided to call it a day and have dinner,after that I went to bed but before I did Shoto came into my room. "Hey sorry if I'm bothering you but I have something for you". "What is it father". I said in a shocking way. He then tells me to close my eyes as he puts a necklace on me, I open my eyes to see a beautiful necklace with a Phoenix in the middle of a circle. He then told me that this was a good luck gift and it would be there to protect me from the dangers I encounter. I thanked him happily and gave him a hug that lasted a long time, I was just so happy that he would give me such an item. I was happy about the life I was given and it was all thanks to him. I would soon realize my happiness would be taken away from me before I truly got to enjoy it.
