10 The uncatchable(?) criminal

Liam, a boy with gray hair and gold eyes, was an infamous criminal known to have never been caught. He was sly in his ways with a charming smirk always on his lips.

"Tsk! How am I supposed to catch this guy?! He always manages to slip through my hands!" Dave, the officer in charge of Liam's case, said angrily.

Since Dave was the main officer in charge of Liam's case, the blame mostly falls in him once Liam escapes. Plus, Liam loves taunting Dave so much and it makes Dave really annoyed.

"I will catch you and put you behind bars even if it is the last thing I do" Dave muttered under his breath as he sat on the chair.

"Woah! I can't believe you caught him" A girl said looking at Dave in admiration.

"It wasn't easy but I tried" Dave said casually with a smirk.

He looked back at Liam who was in the prison cell behind them. Liam just looked at them angrily but didn't say anything.

"You see, I knew Dave would catch you." The girl said as she stuck her tongue at Liam.

Liam just looked at her and grumbled but didn't say anything as Dave smirked in amusement.

Earlier today, Liam had gone on another heist to steal one of the most precious jewels in the world. He was successful and had already gotten the jewels to his safe but was somehow caught by Dave after he left the jewels.

Dave put him in the car and brought him to the police station. When he entered the back seat to bring Liam out, he stayed inside for a long time before coming out with a tied up Liam.

Dave had just placed Liam in the prison cell when this girl came and started praising him.

*Back to present*

Dave smiled at the girl once more before finally sending her out.

It was only Dave and Liam left as Dave turned to Liam with a smirk.

"Oh! Are you feeling uncomfortable? Sorry but this is what you get for what you did" Dave said sacarstically as Liam trashed around angrily.

"You can't talk? Of course you can't, After all, I taped your mouth." Dave continued, leaning closer to the cell.

The weird thing was that there was no tape present on Liam's face and yet he didn't refute.

Dave smirked again before leaving the police station with his car.

He started the car and drove far before he stopped the car and got down. He made his way towards an hidden building and entered.

Once he entered, he removed the face mask he was wearing to reveal Liam's face. He was Liam all along, he made a face mask that resembled Dave to disguise as him, then he taped Dave's mouth before wearing his own face mask on him.

The 'Liam' in the prison cell was actually Dave while the 'Dave' that was praised and left the police station was Liam.

Liam smirked as he moved towards his safe to pick up the jewel.

"There is more than one way to solve a problem after all"
