Chapter 2

*Rooooargh*

Turning around toward the sound, I slowly back off, heart racing in my chest. Was that the sound of a zombie? I need to hurry!

I quickly scan my surroundings, spotting a single zombie approaching from between the trees.

Putting two blocks beneath me to be safe, I quickly fish out one of my raw fish from my inventory.

"I need to eat some of them to run," I mumble to myself, eyeing the vast expanse of land I need to cover to reach safety.

"There's at least 50 to 100 blocks, and I won't be able to make it otherwise."

As I take a closer look at the fish, I slowly take a bite, grimacing slightly at the taste. "Even if I don't like fish, it's quite tasty, but it's raw!" I muse to myself.

"But cooked, it could be even better."

Three bites is enough to completely eat the raw fish, but looking at my hunger bar, I still lack 5 and a half points.

"Time to dig in," I say, fishing out two more fish from my inventory.

As I continue eating, the zombie draws closer, and I glance up to see it just four blocks away from me.

"Oh wow, it's a realistic Minecraft zombie," I say to myself, feeling a sense of excitement bubble up within me.

"It's kind of scary, but...that's fun!"

I pull out my wooden sword, mentally preparing myself to take down my first mob. "I'll hit it, then I'll run toward my home," I decide, taking a deep breath to steady my nerves.

The zombie, now in reach, takes two hits to the head before stumbling backwards.

Without waiting, I push forward with all my strength to deliver a powerful blow to its torso, killing it in the process.

Immediately after my strike, the zombie disappears, dropping a piece of raw flesh on the ground.

Picking it up, I can't help but smile.

"That...that was so fun," I say to myself, feeling a surge of excitement coursing through my veins.

"Fighting is exhilarating!"

Looking up at the stars in the dark sky, I feel a sense of peace wash over me.

"It's only been one day, but I'm already happy" I say to myself, hapiness filling me up.

"I'm free...free to do whatever I want."

Suddenly, I hear a lots of noises erupting all around me. My heart racing, I scan my surroundings, hoping to spot any danger lurking nearby.

What I see sends shivers down my spine - a horde of mobs - zombies, skeletons, and creepers - are rapidly closing in on me.

Realizing the grave danger that I am in, I swiftly calculate my options. But before I can react, the sound of an arrow whistling through the air shatters my thoughts.

"Oh, f*ck! Run boy, run!!!" I mutter under my breath.

With the mobs hot on my trail, I turn towards the direction of my home and sprint with all my might.

The sound of arrows being fired at me further fuels my sense of panic.

Then, out of nowhere, one of the arrows strikes me hard in the back of my left shoulder. The searing pain almost brings me to my knees.

"That hurts so much! But I can't take it out right now," I think to myself.

Continuing to run, I feel my stamina rapidly depleting. Fearing for my life, I begin to prepare myself to dig a hole and hide in it.

But as I'm contemplating my next move, I spot my house nestled between two tall trees in the distance.

Summoning all my remaining strength, I dash towards my home and use my last burst of energy to destroy the block in front of the door, before slamming it shut behind me.

Breathing heavily, I yank out the arrow from my shoulder. To my surprise, there's no blood in sight.

"I guess I should thank my game character," I say to myself, half-jokingly.

"That was dangerously close. If I had a shield and an iron armor, I could have stood a chance against those mobs.

But with only wooden weapons, I was as good as dead," I muse, staring at my wooden sword with dismay.

"First things first, I need proper tools, a farm, a great house, some animals, wool for beds, sugar cane to make books - and most importantly, better weapons!" I decide, planning my next moves for the coming day.

As I ponder my options, I notice a new icon on my system menu. It reads:

[<

:Minecraft World

:Current mod: Vanilla

:Difficulty: Hardcore

:Worlds: Type continent

:Planet size: A circumference of 20 million blocks [upgrade]

:Shop:

>]

"That's new," I think to myself. "My world is about 20,000 kilometers wide - that's two times less than Earth, but still pretty impressive. Now, let's see what this Shop icon is all about."

Clicking on it, a new window pops up:

[<

:Information:

:Points: 0

:Mods: 0

:Worlds: 0

>]

"There are a lot of options," I mutter. "But what's this Worlds tab? Does it mean I can travel to other worlds? That would be insane!"

I click on Information and read through the text:

[<

The Shop is a special feature of the Minecraft World system. With it, you can access other worlds of your choice or at random.

To earn points, you need to give the money earned in other worlds to the system.

The exchange rate is fixed depending on the world and its GDP. The bigger the GDP, the higher the exchange rate, as the value you earn in this world is weaker than others.

[How can I exchange my points?]

By using the points function in the shop, you can trade all the money you earned and have in your inventory.

[How can I access other worlds?]

You can access other worlds by creating a portal similar to the Nether portals or bigger. The material can be anything, and you need to use the world function and pay the price in points. The first world is free of charge.

[What can you buy?]

With these points, you can buy various things, such as:

Mods: You can purchase mods to enhance your world, and the price depends on the value of the mods.

Information: You can buy information on Minecraft, and everything is listed.

Body modification: Do you want a different skin? Buy it!

World modification: Do you want to increase the size of your world? Buy it!

System upgrade: You can upgrade the system with a lot of points.

"Okay... That's a lot, but I understand. Now, another goal is to make money. I'll need to think about a good world for that. But one thing is for sure, I can visit anime worlds! I'll go and mess with canon, that will be so fun ! One of the things I absolutely WANT to do is to fight THE Madara Uchiha, oh boy, I so want to fight powerful people, and for that, I know the perfect mods to buy!"

Reading everything made me sleepy, crouching on the floor, I drift to the dream world.

The beautiful sunrise gradually chases away the darkness, painting the sky with a palette of warm colors that illuminates the world of our protagonist with a soft light. The sun's rays pierce through the darkness, revealing the contours of a magnificent world full of wonders and enchanting landscapes.

As the first rays of light reach the earth, the creatures of darkness, such as zombies and skeletons, begin to burn and die one after another, making way for a new day full of opportunities and adventures.

In the midst of this magnificent scene, the wooden door of a small, cozy cube opens, revealing the face of a young man with black hair wearing a blue t-shirt.

The gentle rays of sunlight land on his face, slowly illuminating it as he blinks his eyes, adjusting to the brightness. He looks around his humble abode, taking in the sight of the wooden walls, the wooden floor, and the crafting table on the corner. It's a simple but safe place to call home in this vast and dangerous world.

"It was not a dream? I have always dreamed of being transported to another world ... I will do my best to live a wonderful life" says the man with a smile on his face.

As I slowly gained consciousness, I was startled to find myself lying under a wooden roof. It took me a moment to register that this was not a dream, and that I had actually made it to a different world.

With a mix of excitement and anxiety, I got up and pinched myself to make sure that I was fully awake. After confirming that I was not in a dream, I reminded myself of the tasks that lay ahead.

"Time to work!" I cheered myself on.

I stepped out of the wooden door, scanning the surrounding area for any hostile mobs that might be lurking nearby. Thankfully, the area was clear, and I breathed a sigh of relief.

*Grumble*

"Ouch, I'm so hungry, I need to make that furnace quickly," I muttered to myself, my stomach grumbling.

I looked in my inventory , taking in the sight of my meager supplies.

"Time to get to work," I say, determined to make the best of what I have.

I then started digging a staircase under my "house" in the dirt, which wasn't too difficult, and soon I had reached the stone layer.

With my trusty wooden pickaxe, I began mining in the same pattern and pulled out 20 or so stones before stumbling upon a coal vein.

"Oh, that's coal. I wanted to cook my fish with wood, but that won't be necessary," I said, relieved to have found a better fuel source.

I mined all the coal I could find and got 9, which wasn't much, but it was a start.

As I mined, I couldn't help but cough from all the dust.

"There is so much dust mining this ore. I didn't think it was THAT realistic," I said, using my shirt to protect my nose and mouth.

Then I gathered all my supplies and made my way back to my makeshift home.

Using my crafting table, I created a furnace with the cobblestones I had gathered, and using the last of my wooden planks, I replaced every wooden item I had.

Then I placed the furnace next to the crafting table and touched it with my hand to activate the interface.

Quickly looking through the interface, nothing was different, I then put my used wooden items and fish inside, and the furnace got to work.

After a while I took out my fish and ate them.

"Mmh ~ that's better cooked. I like chicken or meat more, though," I thought to myself.

After finishing my meal, I headed towards the river to create a farm. On the way, I destroyed some plants to gather seeds. By the time I arrived at the river, I had managed to gather eight seeds.

"Well, that's not enough, but it's a start," I said, determined to make the most out of my meager supplies.

Taking my hoe and gripping it firmly with my hands, I move back and forth to plow the grass before planting my seeds (that's not what you have in mind ! Fbi is watching you ~)

Then I planted the seeds, hoping for them to grow quickly.

"That wasn't hard, guess the system is really good" I said to myself

Looking at the river, I spotted 2 fishes, deciding to kill them for dinner, I took my stone sword in hand before heading to the river.

Killing them wasn't hard … it was just boring … yes boring, they just swam everywhere.

Looking at my farm, I planned out the rest of my day, also taking this time to rest.

' I need to adventure a bit, wool is important I don't want the phantom to go crazy on me, they are annoying, exploring the world is also important '

Taking out my sword, I made my way in the forest…

Hope you liked this chapter, I couldn't upload before, I wanted to write because I have so many ideas but didn't have the time.

Don't forget to give me your ideas, or correct me if I'm wrong.

For the first world, you'll see in some chapters, our MC needs to explore this world and create a proper house first with things to trade.

For the future I'd like to introduce mushoku tensei, I really loved the anime, the only downside is the beginning with the mc loving a 5 year old, but except that it was great, loved the world building, it can be fun to fck canon, what do you think ?

Hope you liked this chapter. Next one is probably coming tomorrow if I have the time.
