5 IS THIS MY REAL 1st KISS!

Though I seem to have a crush on Hase, it's just because he's handsome. I still have feelings for Seth. The rest of the period I remained staring at him.

At lunch, today, we sat at our usual place. From our grade 7, Ava, Shirley, Felix, Rakesh, Nate and I sat together. Rakesh and Nate are generally in their own worlds, always discussing about games and marvel and super heros. Today, Nate brought Hase along with him while we were having lunch and said that he will be joining us from today.

"So, you are that pretty transfer boy from Japan everyone's talking about.... I'm Shirley, nice to meet you," Shirley introduced herself.

"Nice to meet you too." (Hase)

Everyone introduces themselves.

And so did I start introducing myself, "Hello, I'm...."

"Of course I remember you, river-bank girl!" (Hase)

"River-bank girl.....?" (Shirley)

"We just happened to meet at the river bank in my neighbourhood, yesterday." (Ash)

The rest of the day at school goes on as usual. I felt so uncomfortable today at school with Ava thing. So I decided to go to the river bank again.

"Ash, wait there!", Hase screamed as I was walking home.

"Ssup?" (Ash)

"We are neighbours, I live in the house opposite to yours. I just realised that when I saw you running out of your house with a sandwich in your hand this morning. So I thought, maybe, we could walk home together." (Hase)

"Sure," I said. Hase's voice is quite soothing and pleasant and his company really made me feel relaxed. Yesterday and even today....

"It's Seth, right?" (Hase)

I exactly knew what he's asking about. "Yes," I said.

" He doesn't know that you like him, does he?" (Hase)

"No, infact, only recently did he realise that I exist, " I smile faintly.

We walk silently for the rest of the time.

As we reach home, Hase asks, " I'm new to this place, would you like to show me around, maybe this weekend? "

"Sure! I can also clear my head! (Ash)

The rest of school days pass on normally.

" It's Sunday finally! I can get some peace of mind and clear my head!" ( Ash)

As I was about to go to take a bath, Ava calls me.

"Hey Ash! I have a good news for you!" (Ava)

" What is it?!" (Ash)

" I called Seth yesterday evening and asked if you could tag along with us and he said YES!" (Ava)

"Um....about that I'm not so sure if I can come....I said Hase that I would show him around the city...."

" But this is a chance you couldn't miss, I mean you can get along with Seth. Just cancel your plans with Hase. I guess, he'll understand...."

" It's okay, I prefer going with Hase. Enjoy your time with Seth...." I don't know why I said it and I know I wasn't happy with my decision. Maybe I just didn't want to embarrass myself in front of Seth. I hope I'll have other opportunities to be with Seth.

"hello, Ash? Ash? You there?..." (Ava)

"Yeah, I am....sorry I just zoned out for a moment." (Ash)

"You sure about your decision? Are you doing this because of me? I don't want to be the reason for you leaving your love." (Ava)

"No, of course not! You are never a hinderence to my love. I know you. Don't worry at all," what I said just now, I said it genuinely, I know Ava, and I believe her.

"Well, then, enjoy your date with Hase! Bye! Umahhh!", she said this and disconnected the call.

A date?!! Well let's consider it that way, I thought for myself and went to take a bath.

Hase is definitely handsome, infact better than Seth, I better get ready a bit chic . I wear a cute tank top, a mini skirt, and a pair of really cute sneakers and a little bit of makeup.

"OMG, I really am beautiful! ", I tell to myself, looking in the mirror. Right then Hase calls me, "Ready to go?"

"Yes, I'll come down in five." (Ash)

I come downstairs and see that my parents aren't home(that's a relief) but I can hear some whispers. I go to kitchen and see that Dan is here with his girlfriend. I clear my throat, indicating them my presence. "I am going out with my friend", I say to my brother and I also whisper, "Don't get caught."

I go out and see that Hase is already waiting for me. He dressed up really good. He's just wearing Jean and a black hoodie but there's something different about him, today. He's even more hot! I stay staring at him for sometime.

"If you are done checking me out, shall we get going? " (Hase)

"I wasn't checking you out, I just zoned out for a moment..." (Ash)

"You don't need to cover it up, I know I'm handsome!" (Hase)

"Hey! Don't be so proud. You jerk!" (Ash)

"Don't worry, I'm matured, I'll just consider you as one of my fangirls..." (Hase)

We kept talking and laughing through out our way, while walking, in the metro and then we finally reach the Times Square. (Right, I didn't tell you from where I am from. I am from New York City.) Then we buy smoothies and go around shopping. And finally we go to a library.

"You read books? Which genre do you prefer the most?" (Ash)

"I'm more into philosophy." (Hase)

"Oh, I'm into crime thrillers. You should really try out Agatha Cristie's books....", as I kept blabbering, I slip and Hase catches me and pulls me up and then some clumsy person dashes us and we fall on the floor and me on top of him and MY LIPS ARE ON HIS LIPS!
