16 The Zondora Soul

Zander leaves the images up on the holographic board and goes over to the mass spectrometer and puts a tiny sample in of the Zondora Female Soul Substance and runs it. He decides that he'll drink the rest of the liquid and throws it back in one swallow.

Fine then. The instant level up and random item could be nice; however, getting exp right now isn't hard. The poison max is a sweet deal, again I have this mask so I'm fine there. I really don't need the chips at this point since I have a banks worth, but that +70 relationship with any companion is a sweet deal not to mention 1000 exp. I guess I'll just have to bite the bullet on this one and go with option 2. 'Kris hun, give me option 2 please'.

Zander, pleased with his new stats, closes the windows. He walks up to Jessee and feels different towards her. "Jessee are you okay after watching those hollos"?

Walking over to the mass spectrometer, Zander gets the results from his drop of the Zondora Female Soul Substance. It comes back with C17-H23-N-O3. I know this substance. One of my favorite OD (over dose) cases was on a thing she told me Devils Breath or was it Hells Bells? "Do you have a flower here that's called Datura stramonium, or chemical formula C17-H23-N-O3"?

Jessee just stares at him intently before answering. "Yes. We call them moonflower or Devil's weed. Over 1000 years ago they were used as a date rape drug. Here, come to this screen and I'll show you." She leads him to the holographic board and brings up another screen with case stats of more then 2,300 date rape cases in a year. She then shows him a much stronger form of the plant called Devils Breath. It's much more scary and was used to kill Zondora Females during a date rape and robbery. One could take complete control over a Zondora with just a few drops into a drink.

Zander finally speaks "so you have the exact same plant that my Earth does. There was this OD case that we went to. It turned out that they used this same thing on a B class actor to rob her house. When we got there she had been knocked out for three days prior. Someone stayed with her until she awoke an then gave her a much higher dose to make it look like a suicide gone wrong. Here let me show you the stuff this sick fuck was working on."Zander brings back the other screen with the chemical formulas. He holds up the greenish vial. "This PSA brake down is C23-H36-N2-O2. The exact same stuff that humans have. Zondora and Humans are similar in this way. I know how to get more of this without making a synthetic form; however, let's make a synthetic one just for fun and see what the difference would be. What do you say"?

"I'm game. You mean to tell me you can..." her face goes red before continuing "let's just find out how good you are then." She winks at him.

Zander holds up the second vial. "This Nero Toxin brake down is BoNT-NTNHA-HA70-HA17-HA33. Back on Earth we used to put this shit into our faces to erase wrinkles and fine line."

Jessee is LAUGHING at him.

"What's so funny"?

"You guys used to put our head spike poison into your face for fun. What in the hell was wrong with y'all"?

"Fuck you. I didn't do that..."

"Yes please, just name the time and place mister good looks".

Before he could speak more Jessee shuts him up with a kiss on his lips. It's not a short kiss either. She grabs him, bringing him in closer and kissing him harder.

After a few minutes she releases him.

"... Wow... um... a small vial of this stuff could wipe out 18,000 people in one go. It's no wonder that doctor wanted to make this into a weapon. Just think of all the wide spread damage he could've done with just 100 vials. Using them as a bullet like he showed, he would be unstoppable. Now granted if you think about the grain weight of a standard bullet being 230gr you then take that and convert it into a laser bullet like your weapons use, you'd need maybe close to 100,000 vials which would roughly equal about..."

"What size is that vial in your hand"?

"This one is a 20ml vial. Which with the math is only enough for one whole bullet and if you took the left overs it would take another five vials. So six vials would make seven bullets".

"14,286 rounds! That's insane"!

"No sadly that's not even enough to survive a firefight. Even if he got 1,000,000 vials, that would only equal 142,867 rounds." He shakes his head. "Now for shits and giggles let say he had 50,000,000 vials of this stuff. That would give you a grand total of 7,142,857 rounds. You would be able to wipe out only a quarter of the population. That would take 1,000,000,000ml to process. That's 264,173 gallons and if you take into account that a normal Human body or Zondora body has 7 gallons that means that he'd have to capture and torture 37,739 Zondora females. That would take 16.4 years if you had 2,300 date rape cases a year".

"That's only the ones that were reported. Who knows how many unreported cases there really are".

"Okay so if you kill your specimen that's how many bodies would go missing. If you kept them alive then you would have to get the equivalent amount from just a few people".

"Then how was he going to kill everyone"?

"Put it into the water sheds and kill them off or if you only wanted to target a select group put it into bottled water or wine kegs or something to that effect. Now for the one vial that that doctor couldn't figure out happens to be chemical formula C17-H23-N-O3." He holds out the empty vial for her to see.

"Moonflower. Really. That means..."

"That means that your Soul Substance has the same effect as that flower without the side effects."
